The weekend shift where I work chooses Missions of Canton for our Sunday lunch about one or twice a month. We all consider this place a treat. My favorite is the pulled chicken while my coworkers lean towards the brisket. Whatever we have chosen over the past few years has always been consistent. The food has never been dry but always scrumptious and moist and flavorful. I hope you will treat yourself to Missions. Just an overall great establishment.

I was at Canton Mission bbq on Boston St on 11/04/25@ 3:50 pm getting dinner, the manger was really disrespectful , made it really uncomfortable to be there and I had already paid for food, expected more from a manager

The BBQ is decent but avoid the smoked cheese burger. Asked for medium rare and it came well done with waxy cheese on top with nothing else, on an way too small bun. The burger was practically inedible, little taste and hard to chew. Avoid at all costs!
This place was phenomenal. I’m from CT and eat at my local One often but this location was great in Baltimore, very quick, and extremely friendly.

I visit this location often and iv never had a bad experience until tonight . Not sure if it was due to the time or not but I may not return to this location after this . I ordered the brisket which is the only entree i purchase at Mission BBQ and I always get moist , I even order extra meat .
When the young lady called me to pick up my meal the brisket was dry and they just gave me pieces of meat . I have never had this happen to me before , again I’m not sure if it was due to it being the end of the night or not but that’s still unacceptable. My meal cost me close to $30 and it’s now trash .
When I asked the young lady about the meat and moisture, she suggested that juice may help so she gave me some in a small container to pour it over the meat. I’m just over all pissed and I plan to travel to another mission bbq if I ever buy anymore.
It’s 9/19 /2025 and it’s 8:40pm . I feel like they gave me that food in that condition because whatever food was left over they kept for themselves . Not to mention the profanity that was used with the talking & jokes amongst each other at the front . It was only one person who used the word but even still I was mind blown because this has never happened & I assume it depends which manager is there and time .
The person who took my order was kind ❤️ This messed up my dinner / night & I’m Disappointed overall.

My fav BBQ place on Earth! I love it more than 2fifty’s! I only wish there was a location in DC.. I LOVE their pulled chicken (not too salty and def not too sweet like other places) and their turkey (so lean and clean)!!!! This particular location had GREAT service (the person who took the order and a staff member named Mikai who came around our table a few times to take away our trash and ask if we needed anything)! The place seemed new and immaculate. Most importantly, I love their mission!!
