Hello, on November 8th 2025 part of 6 our reservation was at 8:15pm we did not get seated until 9pm! The service was terrible! Our waiter took so long to initially come to our table and every time after to check in on us. Several people walked out before even ordering because of waiting so long for service. After finally ordering we were told 30mins later short rib was out which 3 people from my table ordered, so this caused our to come out even later. One plate came out cold!...
The Monarque is a place my wife and I like to go for a date night. Good food. Good entertainment. However, this particular time my the server wasn't particularly good. Idk what was going on but I felt rushed and no attempt by the server to truly acknowledge me and my wife. Also, the server from the other table has his buttocks over my food. Not cool!
Overall a nice experience but the service was lacking and food was a bit overpriced. The mixed drink I had tasted like straight lemon juice and vodka. Not worth 17$. It was a busy night so I can understand the slow service. But I had reservations and it still took awhile to be seated and attended to. Tables were too small for the big menus and everything else. Literally just ordered so I could clear space. Not a bad spot for a drink just wouldn't recommend for dinner
