What an amazing little pho spot! This place was absolutely delicious! The broth was so flavorful and a taste palette that I will definitely make my way back to!!! The best pho in Baltimore hands down!!

This review is primarily about Mona's Back Bar/Super Bar. It's based on 5-6 visits.
The people are unbelievable. The bartenders Dylan and Logan are so kind to colleagues, patrons, and each other. Next: their cocktails are great. Dylan's creations with mezcal and pineapple are among my favorite house cocktails in the whole city. And if you run into THE Mona: Mona is so hard working and earnest that you can't help but love the place. I crave this kind of food but usually wind up coming to the place for the cocktails and bartenders.
Hampden hidden gem. Honestly, I prefer the drinks here vs the more dark, pretentious place. Thankful to have this in my neighborhood.

Great lovely service lovely people nice location. But if you’re craving pho this is not going to cut it. I wouldn’t even call this pho. The broth doesn’t taste like it, doesn’t smell like it. Where is the star anise where is the stickiness of the bone broth? The thick cut raw steak was meant for Ga Prao but they put it in the pho. Will try other things in the future because the papaya salad was proper.
I stopped by this spot for lunch on a Saturday and it was pretty quiet. The fresh summer rolls with shrimp were a highlight - I loved that they included mint, which isn't always the case at other pho restaurants. The rolls were above average, and the dipping sauce was good, even if it wasn't the peanut sauce I'm used to. The veggie pho was good too. The spring rolls were a bit overdone.
One thing that dragged down the experience was the service - our server was polite but not super attentive, and I had to ask for water refills a few times. They also skimped on the ice in the water. Still, if I'm ever in the area again, I'd consider giving it another shot.

I was disappointed with my experience. The staff member at the register ( short Asian or Chinese looking guy to be specific) was unpleasant and seemed annoyed when I asked for recommendations. As it was my first visit, I didn’t feel welcomed. While the food tasted alright, the overall experience wasn’t worth it, and I don’t plan on returning. However, I encourage others to try it for themselves perhaps I visited on an off day and was simply met with an unprofessional staff member who lacked good customer service.
