highlights are ... everything! kindest owners, delicious bread and pasteries, a gem in the neighborhood and the city
Stumbled upon this place while staying in the neighborhood and loved it. Their bread sustained me for a weekend while i was visiting friends and i intend to come back when I'm in back in town in a few months

Amazing breads that taste delectable! There is a lot to choose from and I will definitely be going back. The service felt a bit rushed though.

The baked goods offered at Motzi Bread are by far the best I have ever tasted! When you walk into the store you're greeted by the delicious smell of baked bread and the welcoming smiles of it's owners Maya Muñoz and Russell Trimmer . They have always gone out of their way to only bake with the finest and freshest ingredients often from locally sourced farms. My husband and I have also found that they are able to create such new and imaginative delicacies that are always too tempting to pass up! We highly recommend that all who happen to live or visit the Baltimore area stop by Motzi Bread! Your taste buds will thank you!!!
Motzi Bread Bakery makes the best bread in Maryland. This is not a commercial bakery churning out flavorless, nutrition-less, dry, sugar-filled products. They are fresh milling their own heritage grains (sourced from local farms) and baking them into artisan, whole grain products using inspired additions. The sourdough is actually sour and moist. The cinnamon cardamom raisin bread has plump and juicy raisins and fragrant spices. Never had a sourdough English muffin? Try it.This is the only place I’ve found pretty much anywhere in Baltimore that bakes bread this good; which is kinda sad. Doppio Pasticceria is also up there. Seylou in DC is similar, but it’s a hike to go there. I digress. Go to Motzi and eat the bread. The people are nice. You’ll have a good time, and eat good food that’s good for you.
