This place is great, but unfortunately, it's closing on 1/1/125. End of an era.

Their quesadillas are great. And you can never go wrong with a hubcap of Margarita. Elvis atomosphere can't be beat.

After 15 years of indulging in my quesadilla and Hubcap Margarita fix, I made my final visit to Nacho Mama's in Canton, Baltimore, as they prepare to close their doors in January 2025. This past Saturday was a bittersweet farewell for my group of 20, who had to wait about an hour for the 3 large tables in the back to open up—but it was definitely worth the wait. We ordered several Hubcap Margaritas to share, along with nachos and seafood quesadillas, all of which were delicious and packed with flavor.
The atmosphere at Nacho Mama's is a perfect reflection of a true Baltimore dive bar, offering a lively, down-to-earth vibe that makes you feel like you're hanging out in your friend's basement with a drink in hand. Over the years, it has been a beloved spot for locals to gather, make memories, and enjoy good food and drinks. While we’re sad to see it go, we’ll certainly miss the warmth and charm it brought to Baltimore. Thank you, Nacho Mama's, for the great times and unforgettable memories!

We saw that this place would be closing soon, and wanted to give it a try. I am so sorry we never knew about this one, their taco shells have to be the lighter, airy shells I have ever tasted. Wish they sold them for take home use. Great dining experience!

Went to Nacho Mamas and honestly, not impressed. Food was okay but definitely not worth the prices they’re charging. Drinks were overly sweet, like way too much syrup. Sat outside and had to open a tab with my credit card before even ordering—which was kinda weird for dinner. Asked for corn tortillas and got flour instead. Plus, they auto-added the tip to the bill without saying anything. Overall, nothing special happening here. I’d go elsewhere next time.

Nothing bad to post. Service was great. My table was checked regularly for drink refills. My wife was very pleased with her spicy margarita. Food came out quickly and was hot. No complaints and we will be going back soon.

Thought we’d be getting some top notch Mexican food but this was not it. The Brussels sprouts were great. Our drinks were weak and expensive. The server tried taking our plate before we were done. They add an automatic gratuity after 8:00 even when they weren’t busy at all. Just too many issues to be happy with our visit.

I was extremely disappointed with the nachos. They had no refried beans, hardly any cheese, no sour cream. Not impressed at all. They used to be good, but I’ll try somewhere else next time!

Last evening after the Ravens game we decided to come to this location for some food and a drink . Plus side of this review food was great . Why this place is getting one star, is because our 30 some dollar hubcap had absolutely no alcohol in it . My friend raved that she had one before in the past and it was great . So hey why not try this famous hubcap. We even mentioned it to a server with the reply oh the sugar didn’t settle yet . Well all this drink was is a fancy cool aide . I’m mad I spent my hard earned money on this drink … what a sham . Not sure if I’ll ever be back, shame because the food was good . Wish we watched them make it, but who does that .?!
Took my lady out to eat. We got the crab dip nachos for the starter. The chips tasted like they were just made. They were delicious. Now for the crab dip it tasted old. I asked when was u made the waitress said that day. She called the manager over who told me the dip was made Friday and it was fresh because he smelled it. It's was Sunday night when I got it. So it was almost 4 days old and for 23 dollars the amount they put on the plate was a rip off anyway. So keep in mind fresh at this place means two maybe three days old.i use to take the 40 minutes ride just for these nachos I don't think I'll be back again.
