Nailah’s Kitchen was amazing! My fiancé and I had a wonderful time. The owner has such a beautiful spirit, and the food was outstanding. Hands down the best jollof in the DMV area—we’ll definitely be returning soon!

The food is very good and worth the drive. I don't like the deceptive pricing though. So online posts the Dibi lamb at 26.50, however you get there and it's $31.80. I was told that because the prices were from the old Nailah's Kitchen and this is the New Nailah's Kitchen. I then ask well where was the old one located- his reply so we just changed the name... 🤔 So the building is the same, new staff, and you slap the word New on the menu and that warrants...

UPDATE: I had to come back and leave a second review not because my experience changed, but because some of y’all need a reminder.

This restaurant is exceptional. Period. From the food to the ambiance to the service everything was intentional and beautifully done. And clearly, I’m not alone in that opinion: the majority of these reviews are 5 stars, and earned. Yet somehow, there are a few people in here acting like this is Yelp’s complaint department...
