Pls note that they have lots of deals/specials depending on the day, plus discounts via apos . I just had a cauliflower-potato burrito that was so affordable and just gorgeously made- awesome flavors and textures. Top tier lunch.

First time trying Nana and it was fantastic! We ordered a whole chicken (bichis) + 3 sides (roasted potatoes, roasted cauliflower, and red rice). Plus we got a side of beans, and I can never pass on flautas so we got those, too!
The chicken was juicy and well marinated. It comes cut into quarters, easy for dividing! All the sides were delicious, but the beans were probably my favorite, so much flavor.
Ordering online was easy, and I did it through Uber Eats because your first 2 orders are 40% off with the code NANA40. So excited to have this new local restaurant in the neighborhood!
Parking: There are designated Nana pickup spots!

So, I want to tell you that I had THE best mole sauce in Baltimore, hands down, at Nana. A little part of me also wants to keep it a secret because, well, I’m selfish with my good finds at times so they don’t get crowded. But I want them to stay around so I need you all to go buy their food. Just save me a seat!
Seriously, do yourself a favor and try any dish they have on the menu with the mole sauce made by the talented chef and owner of this spot. It’s not that crappy heavy chocolate taste some try to pass off as mole.
We also had a burrito. The steak in that bad boy was full of flavor with a hint of smokiness. Divine! For dessert, (yes don’t judge, there was still room for dessert) we had the churros which were dropped when ordered so they may take a few minutes to come out but are so worth a short wait. Talk about heavenly sweetness but not overbearing. Only thing missing at that point was a strong coffee, a good espresso. Seriously, everything was delicious.
Everyone was welcoming and friendly, and the restaurant as a whole including the seating areas were very clean and comfortable.
Note that it’s a small eating area with tall bar style seating so be warned that they can get crowded during peak hours and isn’t a restaurant with wait service or reservations. However, there are seats outside as well and designated parking spots for carryout.
Oh, and the prices? Excellent for whet you get. Only suggestion is to allow us the option to tip more than the service fee charged, to show our appreciation. But I get it, creating a delicious meal for an affordable price is tough in this economy so the reasonable prices even with a service fee is appreciated.

Finalmente! A solid Mexican place in Towson, delicious food, tender and juicy al pastor ?, delicious horchata. I just wish they had a salsa bar or served extra homemade salsa on the side ? rather than just el yucateco. Please let us have more salsa! ?

Incredible food, I have had the rotisserie chicken several times and it is incredible. The burritos are by far my favorite I recommend the Al pastor. One of my favorite spots around Towson!

Just tried a breakfast burrito at the Waverly Farmer’s Market that was AMAZING. Had previously tried the tacos at their brick and mortar (also really good). Will definitely be back for breakfast. Thank you Nana!!

The good reviews couldn't be recent because we finally got around to trying this after seeing the story on local news of their opening and the Clavel alum connection.
We ordered a whole chicken with the rice , potatoes, chickpea and cucumber salad. I don't want to be unkind but there is nothing on offer here you couldn't get from a $5 Costco rotisserie chicken and just cobbling together sides from the aisles. At the very least it would have been hot , not the lukewarm bland offerings we overpaid for. I'm not actually convinced this wasn't a reheated rotisserie chicken. The churros were serviceable. That's it.
The aggressive blandness of the food is baffling as Clavel is good! Baltimore can be so inconsistent and weird ?
Edit: tack on hours of food poisoning. Take away what few points I had given this place smdh

Nana catered an event for us and they were very responsive prior to the event and answered all my questions. They even tried out some new things that I requested to make sure they would work. The food was great and my guests raved about it. Highly recommended!
