The staff are efficient and friendly, the brews are crisp and crushable. Both service and drink are excellent, but the food is phenomenal. They make everything in-house and they do it well. I have yet to be disappointed with anything I’ve ordered. Highly recommend their burgers and the Korean cheesesteak.

We've been longtime fans of Nepenthe, but our last experience changed our minds. We visited for MD Vegan Restaurant Month and ordered one of the vegan burgers from their specials menu. When our food arrived, it came with the substitutes side and sauces we requested, so we had no reason to think it wasn't what we'd ordered. We only discovered later that it was a non-vegan version of the dish. My fiancee ended up getting sick, and it was overall a hugely disappointing experience. I'd expect a place with vegan dishes, especially specials featured for MD Vegan Month, would take more care than this.

My friend and I decided to grab dinner at Nepenthe and I’d say it was a pretty average experience. They have a pretty wide selection of beers and some are also available for purchase as cans so you can take them home with you. We started off with the beer queso which was fantastic and I highly recommend. My friend ordered a burger which she thoroughly enjoyed though they didn’t ask for temperature and it ended up coming out medium which is fine but we wished they would have asked. I ordered the loaded Mac and cheese with crispy tofu and to be honest I have nothing good to say about it. The dish was overwhelming to say the least the kimchi and pickled onions were great on their own but did not pair very well with the Mac and cheese and the tofu was not crispy at all. The pasta was also completely over cooked so everything was very mushy. Despite that I would be willing to dine here another time because other items on the menu seemed promising and I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Love this place. Love the drinks. Love the vibe. Love the events. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Food is spot on and tasty. Parking is street parking but can usually find a spot without to much driving around. Place is large and accommodating to groups of people.

Stopped in here by chance while in the Hampden area and had a nice time. It was pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon, but not busy enough that we couldn’t find a table as soon as we walked in. Good selection of IPAs and lots of tasty food options that are more interesting than your typical brewery offerings! My only note is that one of the beers I ordered was only available in a can and it came out pretty warm which was disappointing.

Often packed and loud, but good food and really good, diverse beer options. Friendly staff as well.

Really nice place and vibe! Came on a Friday evening so it was quite busy but was able to find a seat quickly. Tried a couple of their dark beers and really enjoyed the stout! We also got food, including the beer battered mushrooms and the tofu sandwich with fries. I really liked both! The tofu sandwich was really delicious and hearty - very well seasoned! The fries were awesome and they have a variety of dipping sauces as well!

Busy, busy, busy! But the staff keeps things moving, the food is delish and the beer selection is truly vast, especially if you dig IPAs!

Thought of driving up there from AA County but after viewing website &there are NO PRICES shown on the menu I decided it was worth the 1 hour drive just to try it out!

Always excellent IPAs, esp hazies and killer milkshakes. Almost always a couple sours and a couple other styles. Good pub food, usually a couple veg options, fries, and rotating specials for both food and cocktails.

Officially my top brewery in Baltimore. Food was great (char sui boneless wings and cheesesteak nachos were standouts) and so were the beers. I’m partial to IPAs and they were outstanding. Loved the space, loved everything about it. Anytime I’m in Bmore, I’ll be coming here….
