Ordered through DoorDash. I ordered honey oldbay wings, Catfish platter.. with Mac and sting beans. Everything had a funny taste. The catfish stink so bad like it hadn’t been washed and was sitting out after it was cooked. Mac was mushy and dry. The sting beans tasted sour. I did order near closing so maybe that played apart. But regardless that should have not been served at anyone. Honestly the sauce on the wings were the only thing that was ok. But the wings themselves tasted very much old.

Green beans were VERY bland, I was shocked at how tasteless it was. Ordered fried shrimp and fries aswell, the fries were the best part of the meal.

Everything here is top notch. The owner here hired a few fa.ily members to help run the restaurant and passed the overhead savings on to his customers. My favorites are the salmon, crab cakes, the Next Phaze burger (thick ans very nicely seasoned), the string beans, the French fries and the sweet potato pie. Awesome atmosphere also. Great place to throw a party.

I tried one of their signature drinks made by Maanah called “The Knucklehead “. It is a fantastic autumn drink that stimulates your palette & packs a punch! You can’t go wrong! Come get you some!

I had ordered wings and two sides . The green beans were not cleaned , nor cut. Wings were under cooked and who ever made the Mac and cheese please assign them to a different task it tasted sour . Hoping for a better experience if I make a mistake and order here again through

First time here while visiting Baltimore for the day. I picked this place based on the reviews and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere and the staff was really nice. I ordered the fried shrimp, mac and cheese, rice pilaf and green beans. My mom order the seafood platter. Everything was good. The food came out within 20 minutes. Nice and hot. Seasoned really good. But my green beans had too much of a vinegar taste for my liking. The live band was good. They started off a little slow but once they picked up the beat my momma had to do a little two step. The crowd was nice. It got packed fairly quickly. The only downfall was once the band started playing our waitress did not come by our table too often. Overall, I will definitely be back.

This was my first time experiencing this restaurant. I came on a Friday where they had live music.. let me say this I WISH I WOULD OF BEEN CAME HERE BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE I BEEN MISSING OUT. The food 10/10. I had the fried catfish, collard greens, and the Mac n cheese. When I say I want soul food. This is what I mean if it doesn't have flavor and taste fresh like this I don't want it. My husband got the Buffalo wings which he loved as well..
Let's get into next the live music.. 10/10. I love me some live music. The saxophone man was getting it playing some good R&B hits and than you had the piano, guitar, and the drums going in as well.. the music just topped the experience off because I was not expecting such an amazing experience like this.. the crowd is an older crowd which I also loved because everybody was having a good time with good energy in the room!
Now let's get into the drinks and the bartender and waitress who we had.. when you go ask for Jumannah. She is going to get you right and me saying the word right is an understatement. She went above and beyond to make me and my husband first time experience AMAZING AND ENJOYABLE. She treated us like family. Her warm personality and her attentiveness gave excellent customer service. And not to mention the drinks were sooooo good. I didn't want anything too strong for my alcoholic drink and she delivered! She will GET YOU RIGHT! DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD ON MY LONG REVIEW GO SEE FOR YOURSELF. TRUST ME WHEN I TAKE TIME TO WRITE A GOOD REVIEW. I DON'T JUST SAY STUFF. I WANT YOU TO GET THE SAME EXPERIENCE IF NOT BETTER THAT I HAD. NEXT PHAZE IS NOW ONE OF MY FAV. RESTAURANTS I HAVE BEEN TOO!!
