Food was really tasty. Check to see when bands are playing before you go. You may be required to buy a ticket. Very limited menu. Had the sweet jerk wings, salmon, and tried the catfish. All were great and satisfying. Sides of greens, Mac and cheese were great. Rice was not the day I went. I'd go again.

Cornbread is meh. Very meh. My "lemon pepper" wings taste like nothing but fryer grease. Just ZERO seasoning. Nothing. Mac and cheese is unremarkable. Greens were great, and I like the green beans! Husband's chicken tenders were not memorable and his fries were ok. Maybe if they didn't show up ,6 miles away more than an HOUR late they would have been better. Will not be ordering from here again. Ever. This was bad.

This past Friday night (2/16), I visited the spot with a friend of mine who had never been there before. We ordered the catfish strips for an appetizer, along with a salad and the Cajun pasta: everything was DELICIOUS. I just had the leftovers of the pasta for lunch and it was even better than the first time around!!We had a server who was on her first night and we definitely had some issues with getting our orders on time on a busy night, but she had a great attitude and will be even better as she gets more comfortable.The live music (a jazz band that did covers of several familiar songs) was incredible, and Mr. Briscoe was charming and helpful, as usual. Highly recommend checking this out!

My first time trying crab cake so I didn't have anything to compare it to. So I will say it was the best crab cake I have ever had. Make sure to ask for loads of special sauce. It is a secret recipe that makes the entire dish. I didn't know what it was so I dipped everything in it fries, crab cake, cornbread, Mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was one the my favorite things. The entertainment was top-notch However it took over 1.5 hrs to get drinks, over 2 hrs to get food which could've been explained what the error was instead of us seeking answers. You have to request eating utensils. Some of the younger female staff aren't friendly at all. Mac n cheese was rushed (a little on the runny side) Food was delivered out of order so one person ate before the rest of the table Catfish, shrimp, and greens were all delicious and the patrons were fun & fabulous Drinks were ok

Received an Uber eats from this place. the collards tasted like apple cider vinegar no seasoning and mushy. Mac taste like heavy cream and velvets cheese, but it wasn’t cheesy. Seasoning was missing. Noodles were cooked perfectly. No salt pepper garlic was in the macaroni. Salmon was cooked properly but the glaze was a unique taste. I was able to tolerate it. Corn bread was decent.
