Loved this place from start to finish!! Anna was so great, amazing service and the food was incredible. The Peking duck is 10/10, the Singapore noodles was bomb and the spicy sweep the leg drink!!

The food is not only beautifully presented but it’s also delicious! The atmosphere feels welcoming and the place is stunning, btw. But the real standout was our waitress, Anna. She was attentive without being overbearing and genuine in her recommendations that made our meal awesome. We could tell she takes pride in her job which truly elevated the whole experience! We will be retuning for all of the yumminess and asking to sit in Anna’s section for sure!!

Came here while visiting family, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. We ended up staying for over three hours because we completely lost track of time—everything was just that good. I’ve recommended to everyone I know to come here to celebrate anything!
Also, the top floor would be AMAZING for a date spot.

When the first thing the waiter says about the restaurant is that you put all the food in at once, and it comes as it comes. Translation - your entree may come before your appetizer/dim sum. Other translation - we do not want to manage when the food comes out, so you deal with it. We are not off to a good start. Then, when I order General Tso's Chicken (a good barometer of any Chinese restaurant), the waiter tells me it does not come with rice and asks if I want to order rice to go with my dish. What? No rice, that is a first. When my dish comes and there is no sauce on the chicken, I ask for a side of sauce - of course, that is an extra charge too. I do not mind paying $19 for GTC, but you can at least provide rice and sauce. Now for the good stuff. The place is new and beautiful. The food was fresh, creative, and delicious - try the pastrami spring rolls. The drinks were also very good, with creative flavors infusing some of the Asian culture wherever they could. Overall, I am disappointed they are making foot faults on what could be a regular stop for us. Not sure whether I will return unless management decides to analyze the optics of their decisions. (Note, just charge me more for the GTC and give rice, but making it a la carte is insulting).

Atmosphere and service were excellent. Food needs a lot of improvement. Even though the portions were tiny, the Peking Duck was on point with flavor. But the rest of the dishes: chicken fried rice and mushrooms noodles lacked any authentic Chinese flavor. They tasted like someone made them from the first time with just whatever random seasoning in the kitchen and then forgot to taste them before serving.
My friends ordered the chocolate xiao long bao which tasted bad and the concept is so ridiculous that it’s an insult to the Chinese culture. It needs to be taken off the menu.
Maybe I just had bad luck with the items I ordered. It’s still a nice restaurant and we didn’t leave hungry. Except for the duck, don’t expect the food to be much better than your local $10 take outs.
My suggestion is to learn how to cook Chinese food. lol I can’t put it any other way. Or include more original items in the menu because the traditional ones are just the same or worse than any other cheap Chinese restaurants.
Alright cousins, Doc stepped into Nine Tailed Fox and let me tell you something. Stunning. I truly felt like I stepped into East china on a soft Tuesday without needing TSA or turbulence. 😎🌴
The welcome at the door felt like that calm respect you get in a proper Asian tea house. Quiet confidence. No forcing the vibe. Just ease. Customer service was warm, present, and attentive without hovering.
Now cousins, I am begging you. Keep your voices at inside volume and your plates where they belong. This is not the spot for hookah energy or “make the DJ turn it up.” Treat this one with cultural respect.
Sat at the bar. Specialty margarita came out smooth and balanced. 9 out of 10 only because of them fees. It tasted like someone who understands harmony actually made the drink.
On to the main event.
I ordered Crispy Beef , General Tao Chicken, Three Fried Rice, and the Crispy Shrimp Egg Rolls so I could give you a well rounded review.
The crispy beef was colorful and layered. Sweet heat, gentle umami, and that light crunch that says the oil temperature was taken seriously. The sauce did not drown the dish. It supported it. Again… intentional, u see the theme …?!?!
The Three Fried Rice had technique. It reminded me of kitchens where the wok is seasoned by years of hands that respect the flame. Grains separated, flavor developed, not heavy, not greasy. That is skill and patience.
The shrimp egg rolls had freshness that was noticeable. They tasted like someone prepped, rinsed, and chopped with care. Not freezer, not rushed, not thick and doughy. Clean flavor. Crisp bite.
Everything tasted free of preservatives and shortcuts. Like food made by someone who learned from elders who learned from elders. Just know they charge
I do not give out tens but this is a true 10.
No hesitation. No negotiating. One note build all them fees like the take out fee into your pricing 🧐
The vibe had me floating. And I do not even indulge in herbal refreshments 😌.
The space feels like Bali meets Seoul café meets upscale Southeast Asian coastal resort.
And I have not even gotten to the rooftop yet.
Yes, I will be back.
Nine Tailed Fox is a gem.
Treat it with dignity.
Appreciate the culture.
Eat with respect.
Tell them Doc sent you. 🕶️✨
