We placed an order for two on the phone for pick up, and were told 20 minutes until it’s ready. We gave 35 minutes just in case. We get there to pick it up, it’s not ready :/ after waiting another 20 minutes…we take the order to the car and were missing two main entrees? Our order only had 5 things in it to begin with. Nine tail fox has a great atmosphere and is beautifully decorated. The have nice indoor and outdoor eating spaces. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was just ok in my opinion. Our meals did not come out very hot which was disappointing. The kungpao chicken and garlic pea shoots were tasty. The dessert was our favorite part of the meal, we tried the strawberry cloud cake and the custard. Both were delicious and unique.
Our server, Ben, was an absolute gem. He was knowledgeable and kind and every single thing he recommended blew us away. We asked to talk to his manager, and Mackenzie couldn’t have been more solicitous. Don’t skip the slaw, crab Rangoon or lo mein. We also LOVED the general Tso’s chicken. The portions were perfect, the spice level was excellent and the quality of the ingredients was evident. Don’t miss this excellent addition to the Baltimore dining scene.
