The atmosphere was great I was at a table of 5. Our waitress was very nice. Now... into the food, I had the mambo shrimp appetizer which was not very appetizing to me. It had a very very heavy worchestsire taste. I had the blackened salmon which wasn't bad it just had a fishy taste which was because it was Atlantic salmon, it tends to be on the fishy side. The garlic mash and vegetables were decent, can't complain. I also had the binges which were like mini size. I had 5, with a side of chocolate. The binges were good, I didn't eat the chocolate though. Others at my table had the spinach artichoke dip which they loved and ended up getting as a meal. The crab cake had shells in it which my sent back, the gumbo was very very very salty, which my friend sent back. The manager came over to understand our experience with the food which was good, she comped the items sent back which was nice and made sure we all ate something we enjoyed. And there is a 19% gratuity added to every check. 9/10 for experience but 5/10 for the food.

While on an impromptu staycay, it was time for brunch before heading down 95S! We wanted somewhere near our hotel and when I saw the name "Nola", my mouth started to water for charbroiled oysters! After checking out the brunch menu online, I was a little disappointed that oysters weren't on it but hey, I'm somewhat of a risk taker so she was all in. Let's take a shot! Lol Once we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that they also offered their full menu during brunch so already, they were WINNING! So without further ado, let's see if their charbroiled oysters lived up to the restaurant's name! Let me tell you, they certainly did! I'm glad she's not an oyster lover like me so she only had one. I was low key happy as hell because those things were heavenly and I got to eat 5 without feeling guilty.. Lol I went for the fried seafood platter and she being a chicken and waffle connoisseur, she chose that after our attentive server highly recommended it. My meal was great while the chicken part fell a little short on flavor but the waffle part was perfect. She'll get the shrimp and grits next time while I'll probably do a complete redo because mine was sooo good! :) Nola in a word is charming. Small but big enough! B'more gets a bad rap for being a big bad city. I love the Federal Hill community and Nola and its employees were awesome and we'll definitely return.. This time it'll be later in the day so we can try their NOLA inspired drinks.. CAN'T WAIT!

Visited NOLA on Fat Tuesday Lively and packed inside Service was pretty good considering the amount of people inside Great specials, which is why I wanted to come here Tried the jumbo & jambalaya, both were ok, edible but the flavor was ehh Drinks were ok, pretty strong Pretty sure I would not return, wasn't impressed with food or drinks Great atmosphere though

NOLA in BMore? Say it ain't so! Let my Beau tell it! It is! He felt like we were in NOLA just by the oysters! We even had beads! We started with charbroiled oysters and they were good! My Beau is lucky it was lunch cause I would have had more. He got the majority of them. He had the seafood platter and had no complaints. I tried, you guessed it, the chicken and waffle and it was YUMMY! (Still on my quest to find the BEST one.) Overall, excellent! No signs of bare chests when we walked outside so safe to say, this NOLA is in Baltimore!

This spot is cool. The drinks were good, nothing to write home about. The crawfish bread was the best thing. I would go back for that and a drink and have no complaints. The oysters were good but maybe the not the best oysters to start with. I was a bit disappointed by the red beans and rice, it was good but not as developed of a flavor as i expect from New Orleans red beans and rice. There are franchises in Nola that make better. It also lacked enough of the sauce/roux so it looked drier that what i expect but flavor was there. The beignets were a disappointment and the chocolate sauce did not help. It’s a good spot when your craving that Nola style cuisine outside of Nola but it couldn’t compete if it was actually in New Orleans.

Went here for brunch with friends. There was a DJ that came and added to us having a wonderful time! The food was okay , everything came out warm not hot as if it was sitting in the kitchen under no type of hot light waiting to be brought out. I got the chicken biscuit, the biscuit was so burnt I was not able to enjoy it I picked the bacon off and just ate that with the potatoes. The mozzarella sticks were good just not hot how they normally come out.

I must say the food is outstanding per usual. However the service on Sunday March 17, 2024 at 4:15pm to be exact SUCKED. The drinks were not good either. I’m actually disappointed because I recommended this place to so many people. I had my family come from out of town to celebrate my birthday at NOLA’s but this was not a good experience today at all. Question: What’s the point of making reservations if you’re not going to be waited on until 30mins after being seated? Probably won’t be here for a while and most definitely not recommending to anyone until the service gets better. I can post this everyday until we find a solution to yall problem. Let’s do better please

I wish I could get the calamari hot and crispy, this is the 2nd and last attempt. Both times were cold and crispy. I pay too much money for these not to be hot. And I waited for them both times.

Decent spot... went there on a Thursday evening. Not to many people present understandable due to the day of the week. Had two drinks and bounced. Maybe better experience on a special night. The did automatically charge me gratuity on 2 drinks which I thought was weird.

My review is strictly based off the Fat Tuesday menu! This menu is available every Tuesday. I’ve been coming here for about a year on Tuesday’s once I stumbled upon the fact that it’s the only day I can get the catfish taco’s. They aren’t served any other day of the week, so I catch this tasty bite on Tuesday’s, where I get 3 tacos for $8.The tacos have all the perfect elements. They’re fried to perfection, the slaw is nice and crunchy, and the remoulade adds an element of saucy that packs a flavorful punch, all on a flour tortilla.

Parking: The streets surrounding the restaurant are narrow/tight. So finding parking is difficult. The safest parking is the parking deck about a block over. Keep in mind the restaurant is on a narrow street as well. As it's off the main street. So there is a chance you will miss it if you are NOT familiar with the area as I was being an out of towner.
