Great cafe in a quiet neighborhood in Baltimore quite close to Fells Point. Great choice of food and coffees. We had cappuccinos, sesame latte, bagel cream cheese and egg cream cheese sandwich in a challah bun. They are coffee roasters too. Great service with plenty of seating space. Friendly baristas. Has lovely grape vines and a verandah feel before you enter. Free street parking.

I'm not sure how many times I have to go here to earn a decent experience. This place is an absolute nightmare each time I walk in. For as many people working behind the counter, a simple latte never seems to be made in a timely manner, the espresso machine isn't working, they're out of supplies, the coffee lids do not fit the cups, the coffee sleeves do not fit the cups. Ordered food and was given the wrong item. This team and the way this shop is run is unacceptable. For a small community coffee shop, it's insane how you still haven't gotten a system down for inventory, exceptional customer service, urgency, or professionalism. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be consistently disappointed.

I got a pumpkin cold brew and added brown sugar and it is the best coffee I’ve ever had. Friendly and when I had questions about their bagged grounds they answered them without hesitation. Super friendly people, super delicious coffee!!

Adorable cafe in Canton! The drinks and food here are amazing, with beautiful latte art. The coffee is well roasted with pleasant notes of bitterness but no sourness/burntness. The food was delicious as well. The atmosphere is also amazing, with a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is also covered by a gorgeous canopy of grape vines. Absolutely look forward to coming back here for a future brunch/coffee date

Coffee here is so delicious and strong! I got a dalgona latte and my new go-to is an iced caramel latte, which is delicious. The dalgona latte had little pieces of dalgona which melted with the espresso and was really unique. It’s also a nice place to chill, with indoor and outdoor seating. You can generally always find a seat.

4 employees working all chit chatting rather than preparing my breakfast sandwich which was gross, and the drip coffee was cold.

Otherwise cool spot with good vibes.

Thank you to the kind barista who recommended the Japanese iced coffee yesterday. My go-to is black cold brew but the Japanese style was smoother and a little less bitter. The vibe of the shop is moody and modern. I would definitely consider working or reading while visiting and enjoying the great coffee. I sat outside under the beautiful grapevines that encapsulate the building. I'm planning my next visit already.

I would highly suggest NOT going to this coffee shop. Rude, unprofessional staff that yap and dilly dally instead of hustling to output orders. Waiting 20+ minutes for coffees when there’s only 2 people in line. Consistent bad attitudes and inefficiency from employees. Constant ingredients being out of stock with no sense of urgency to replace them. Overcharging for mediocre coffee that doesn’t live up to the hype. A weird smell in the coffee shop. Overall an extremely poor experience every time I come in here. And to top it all of, the short skinny man with tattoos who consistently is yapping and gossiping instead of making coffee and keeping the line moving. The short skinny girl also extremely rude, making food poorly and giving major attitude to customers while handing them sloppily made breakfast. Mediocre service and a lesson on efficiency and urgency would really help this place out. Employees need a reminder if they don’t wanna work in a coffee shop they can take it elsewhere.

Solid place to go for coffee. They were out of some type of foam that my friend wanted when we went but they had a good coffee menu. I got a protein bar and she got a specialty latte that she liked. There were some people working in the back and it seems like a calm place to either work, or just vibe with friends. I would go back here again if I wanted a drink! They also have some local art prints.

I rarely do reviews but I stopped here on my way to New Jersey. Reviews looked great and shop looked cute so we decided to pick this over the other shops nearby. I’m genuinely confused by my experience compared to the reviews.
To start, service was poor. Just from not being greeted to short abrupt responses, maybe I’m being picky here but was not the most welcoming atmosphere. I will say no one was rude, just maybe the word is.. not personable?
I can see past that, especially if you make a damn good coffee.
After completing our order, I watched as our coffees were being made, and was appalled to see the employee eating a popsicle while making the drinks. I’m all for a nice treat but while hands on someone’s food just did not sit right. (At this point, should’ve voided the order but tried to convince myself it wasn’t a big deal and did not want to be confrontational). On to the food…by far the worst breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had, definitely better off stopping at a McDonald’s or something. Everything is microwaved and as I watched it being prepared I, again, felt like I should’ve just voided the transaction then and not given that benefit of the doubt. After being in the car for hours and needing a quick pick me up, it just sucked having to stop elsewhere after receiving our order.
I was amazed to learn this place as been in business for 6 years, if I read that correctly. Sucks to spend money on poor quality food and service, I won’t be returning or recommending.
We stopped at 913 S Lakewood ave, Baltimore.
Is this under new management or is there a separate location everyone is posting about that is amazing?

This is my favorite cafe of Baltimore, as an owner of one (Karellas Cafe). The breakfast sandwiches and pastries are always fresh and exceptional!
The baristas are always working hard, and always making your coffee to perfection!
Keep up the great work, simplicity and consistency can take you a long way, as this place demonstrates!
