Disappointing Experience at Panera Bread
I recently visited Panera Bread for lunch with my sister, expecting a pleasant dining experience. However, I was incredibly disappointed by the disruptive behavior of a group of Uber Eats and DoorDash drivers who were gathered inside the restaurant. None of them had active orders, yet they were being loud, listening to inappropriate content at full volume, and openly flirting with the cashier in Spanish—blowing kisses and receiving free items.
All around the restaurant, paying customers were enjoying their meals—some sharing intimate moments with family and friends, while others, like my sister and I, were trying to work. While I understand that a public space does not guarantee privacy, I do expect a basic level of respect for those nearby. The noise level was so excessive that two other gentlemen, also paying customers, had to put in their headphones just to tune out the disruption.
When I approached the cashier to ask for a manager, she provided a name but then proceeded to talk about me in Spanish to the drivers. Unbeknownst to her, I understood everything being said. When I called her out on it, she chose to argue with me instead of addressing the issue.
Having started my own career at Panera Bread at 16, I’m shocked that this type of behavior is tolerated. Panera is known for providing a welcoming and comfortable dining environment, yet this experience was anything but. Paying customers should not have to endure such disruptions—especially from individuals who are not even there to purchase food.
I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and enforces a higher standard of professionalism to ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience for all guests.

I’m a customer at Panera bread everyday I can really prove this with the transaction from my bank account everyday I only order broccoli cheddar soup - bread and coffee I went today find out the girl in the cashier saying we don’t do this order till 10AM after that she said is not heated till now I didn’t understand I told her I’m here everyday and I don’t order anything else other than that everyday anyways …. This funny really I called the headquarters 2 times and they were nasty talking and they didn’t care so I’m just saying about my experience with the whole Panera bread never again for me because I paid money there to have food but they act like they give me free food

This is the first time I ordered delivery through the Panera App. And I’m very grateful, especially since it’s very cold out. My meal was very good, Just not the size I paid for and additional items on the salad were not included. But if this is a Whole, I’m curious to see what a half looks like

I have been a regular customer at Panera Bread for quite some time now, and I have always enjoyed my breakfast from this particular location. However, today was a huge disappointment. Despite knowing that I am Muslim and do not eat pork, they handed me a sandwich with bacon in it. It seemed like it was done on purpose, which is unacceptable. Not only did it go against my religious beliefs, but it also showed a lack of respect and consideration from the staff. I hope this was just a one-time mistake and not a reflection of the company's values.

I ordered food through the mobile app. I did not check that I want the Covid -era contactless delivery. I want the driver to hand off my food to me. Low and behold, I turn on my porch light and see my food sitting there. This location does not put a sticker on the cup lid of their iced coffee. It makes me worried that my drink is tampered with when I see an open drink top on my stoop. I looked down when I picked it up and saw a bug floating in it. Disgusting.

I love Panera Bread! Uh, usually. My soup wasn't as warm as it should've been. The baguettes were stone cold! Very disappointing.
