The atmosphere was nice. A lot of nice pictures around the restaurant. Our server was pretty good and knowledgeable. They were out of a lot of food which was unfortunate because the menu was already limited.
Wonderful food. The crab cake egg rolls, pasta, and everything were great. The service was confusing and slow. The happy hour deal was confusing and inconsistent, why not say everything under $xx is included? Instead it was piecemeal. Only wines by the glass, not bottle prices. Took our orders and then ran out of some of what we ordered. Moreoner the front door says Shakespeare Company, not the name of the restaurant. Keep the chef and kitchen crew, fix the service...
A Mixed Experience at Papi’s New Location
As a long-time supporter of Papi, I was excited to visit their new location at Proper Cuisine’s sister property. While the atmosphere and service were absolutely top-notch (10/10 for both!), the food didn’t quite meet the high expectations I’ve had over the years.
