I've only been there once but loved it! The tacos were packed to the brim, and their margaritas were cool. The people were very nice. Went in around 4:30-5, and we were the only ones there, but the waitress was super nice and attentive.

I stopped at Papi's to pick up dinner on my way home and was terribly disappointed. My burrito was very soggy and my tacos were just thrown together. I expect more from this establishment. Do better.

My 14 year old daughter and I stopped by to grab a quick bite before taking her from school to her babysitting job. She had a taste for Mexican and we simply Googled to find a place near us. WHAT A FIND! Our first server was Matt and he did an AMAZING JOB! Not only that, but the Food & Atmosphere was Great Too! We were so impressed that we stopped by a 2nd time for the same reason - this time, Ciena was our server. Fantastic Personality and same comments regarding the Food & Atmosphere! We plan to return to try various dishes :)

Poppi’s Tacos in Hampden is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is quirky and inviting, and the service is top-notch. Our server, Patrick, was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.
We started with the guacamole, which was creamy and flavorful. The Al Pastor breakfast burrito was a standout – the perfect blend of savory and spicy. The tacos were absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and a variety of delicious toppings.
If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine in a fun and laid-back setting, Poppi’s Tacos is a must-visit.
Vegetarian options: Lot's of options for vegetarians. Mexican food is wonderful for this.
Parking: There is a parking lot behind the building, maybe 15 spots. But there is also street parking.
Kid-friendliness: They had a nice kids menu that my daughter was excited about.

I'm from San Diego so I am a total Mexican food snob. I was pleasantly surprised at just how good and authentic the birria tacos are. Possibly the best in Maryland?? I'm back for another round today. Also, I love restaurants that give complimentary chips and salsa. Salsa is ON POINT. Chips are fresh and crispy.

I’m an older female-presenting person. I went to dine alone on a Sunday evening. Two tables in the dining room were occupied. It only hit me after the fact: I could have sat close to the door, or the window, but no. They sat me next to the kitchen. As close as it gets. Enough said.

This was our first time here. Did a double date with family and it was amazing. Bonnie was great. She made you feel at home. Food portion ls were very generous, margaritas were strong and tasty, prickly pear frozen margarita was fire, fajitas were top notch, everything was excellent. Definitely recommend it ????????? Great date night spot or family fun time.
