Papi's Tacos SoHa Union

We come for the discounted daily specials and solid neighborhood friendliness. They do a lot of other plates very well too, so the more times we come the more those things look enticing. When we come with others, they also like to order from the deeper menu, so I hope you enjoy that too! The same group does a taco place in town, so some of those menu items are here too. Good American comfort food.

Fine place but has the most excruciatingly loud and inconsiderate parties to the point where it vibrates the apartment complex above, a friend asked them to turn it down and was told they couldn't do anything. This has happened multiple times.

Was a great dining experience. Service was great, everyone was really nice. I got a peach ring crush which was delish. We got the Brussel sprouts and the Maryland tater tots to split, and it was all SO GOOD. The servings were huge. We only finished half between the two of us. Lots to take home. Yum thank you!!!

The specials are fantastic, food is awesome, people are friendly, if you sit at the bar you’ll probably end up having some fun conversation you weren’t expecting. Great addition to the neighborhood. The music can be a bit loud but they’re always happy to accommodate you if you ask.

We have an incredible time every week at Wednesday trivia! Justin always takes amazing care of us at the bar (including making me some bangin’ mocktails!) and the food is consistently great!

I went there and had the best experience. The food was amazing and the service by my waiter Emerson was the best. He made sure we always had drinks and was very nice and outgoing. Definitely recommend!

Horrible experience. Lack of effort from waiter, food not properly prepared, overpriced, generally uncomfortable experience. Drinks took 20 minutes to come out, and food took nearly 45. They also nearly forgot part of our order. Atmosphere was amazing, though. Just try to hire better staff.

I ordered pick-up from here, 2 weeks in a row. The burgers were great, even to-go but the packaging could be better. The brussels sprouts I substituted for fries sogged up my burger bun. They should've been separated. There was also supposed to be an aioli with the Hangover Burger that wasn't included.
The crab tots were amazing. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned with the right topping to tot ratio.
The second visit, I tried the squash blossom handpie. Unique but familiar. Good flavors.
The blackened chicken sandwich was also good but the mac & cheese I subbed for fries had 0 flavor and very little cheese. Highly disappointing. The birria tots were good but birria is supposed to come with consomme on the side and this didn't so the meat was a little dry but flavorful so the dish was not as good as it could've been.

TL;DR, Burgers, chicken sandwich, squash blossom handpie and tots 👍🏽 side mac & cheese and including sauces 👎
FYI- They charge a 10% pickup fee and a bag tax.

We needed somewhere that could accommodate a large group (15) with vegans, one gluten allergy, one peanut allergy, several young children and a wheelchair user for brunch. Alexander's Tavern met all the needs and was delicious! PS: I am a very sensitive celiac and have eaten there many times with no reaction.
