Nice little restaurant. Service was great. The gentleman who served me was really nice and polite. He quickly responded to my questions about the menu and even offered to "tweak" my meal and add extra spice to my liking. Food was delicious. I would recommend that place

Tasty food but business acumen or experience cooking on a large scale is non-existent. On Mother’s day we placed a pickup order at 1230PM, thirty minutes after the restaurant opened. Upon placing our order they told us it would take an hour. We arrived at the restaurant at 145PM and were told they needed an additional 20 minutes. This was fine because we placed a big order - 5 entrees and one side.

The 20 minutes passed and we were told to wait another 20 minutes. By this time other patrons (12 people including us) were seated in the restaurant. The couple (2 people) heard that we placed our order at 1230PM and were now waiting for almost 2 hours and they left.

Thereafter a table of 4 complained because they too were waiting for a long period of time and only received their individual entrees every 20 minutes.

Three people at the bar were waiting over an hour for their food and after an hour their food arrived. Three damn tacos, they waited over an hour for three damn tacos.
Once they heard we called in our order at 12PM, they said too were concerned and frustrated.

We finally received our food at 230 only to find an entree missing. We had to wait an additional 30 minutes. We waited for for 2 hours and 30 minutes for a pick up order that was suppose to be ready in an hour.

Absolutely ridiculous.

The hostess who was originally at the bar, went back and forth to the kitchen, I’m assuming to assist the chef. Once she came back she told a pair coming in the restaurant about the wait. She advised they only have one person working in the kitchen and others called out today.

This is unacceptable.
I won’t be returning to this restaurant.

Tried this restaurant for lunch. We went with the lunch portions of brown stewed chicken and a chicken bowl and the vegetable bowl. I really enjoyed the brown steeds chicken, just needed a little more to go with the large portion of peas and rice. The cabbage was delicious. Very tasty. I could have kept eating but I forgot to get some coco bread.
The chicken bowl was good. Very filling but a little on the spicy side.
The vegetable bowl was also very filling.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will return

Booked the lounge to celebrate an anniversary with family but we're not allowed to sit in lounge as they were short staff. We had to sit on some higher stools and table. Food was good but not the setting I was expecting.

So delicious omg….. staff were so nice and everything was really chill!! Never been to this restaurant before but it was sooooo worth it, I really recommend it! :))

wait time for food was extremely long.
Also they charged $70 when it adds up to $50 according to the menu on the food I ordered.

I enjoy my food it was amazing I had the brown stew chicken rice and beans and cabbage with a appetizer of oxtail egg rolls on the side every had flavor I can’t wait to come back there even the drinks was good of course I had a strawberry henny on the side or two

We made reservations and when we arrived the establishment was closed. Another group of customers arrived at the same time with a personal email confirmation from the owner. Obviously this isn't the first or last time this is going to happen as you can read through the comments it's happened to other customers in the past.

The doors were locked ... we couldn't eat here . I was on time and another 2 guests were shut out as well

Not good at all. 1st and last time here. Curry chicken was tasteless.

I was treated so beautifully with amazing food and excellent service on a lovely little corner in Locust Point. Delivered by Marie from the kitchen and owner Stacy makin’ me feel right to home.I’ll return for that Carib vibe, spirit, and hospitality again!
