This is probably going to be one of my reoccurring favorite lunch spots!
Everything was perfect, even parking wasn’t a challenge!
The atmosphere was calm like a coffee shop, the music wasn’t too loud. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
My husband and I ordered the egg and scallion fried rice, Kung Pao Chicken, pork soup dumplings, Mongolian beef with scallions, BBQ Bao Buns, a hot yuzu citrus tea, and a passion fruit green tea
All teas and drinks are made to order. I was able to customize my tea which I loved. I’m a Type I diabetic so when I go to restaurants I usually can only order a Diet Coke or water. I ordered this tea without sugar and added stevia.
All of the food was delicious, fresh, and not too greasy!

It was pretty hectic in there . It was packed and folks were still trying to get orders. I wanted some tea only and that would have been at least a 20-30 min wait. I guess Christmas was the wrong day to be there. Glad they were busy, it makes me really want to try the food now
The food tends to be pretty great but the prices are just offensive. They are so absurdly high!!! And the portions are so small!! I would eat here a lot more if I didn't feel violated every time I open my wallet for these people.

This time I tried their roast duck with rice. OMG it's the best roast duck, here in Baltimore. Better than at the Asian grocery store in Catonsville. There's a reason why Chef Peter Chang won a James Beard award. Chef Chang has nailed down his techniques with the roasting duck process. This isn't an easy process for an amazing roast duck. Chang's roast duck is juicy, tender with that crisp duck skin.
The portion was very good for the price (literally two meals out of this dish). I'll do a splurge for the Peking duck. I'm sure this will be just as good if not better.
Also recommend the following dishes that I've had in the past:
Shrimp with walnut
Stir fry dry beef wide noodles
Overall, the food here is very good and pretty authentic too. Something hard to find in Baltimore, authentic Chinese food.

The quality of the food and service is not anywhere close to its sister restaurant in Columbia MD.
My husband walked in tonight and ordered shrimp fried rice and shrimp lomein. I am completely convinced this place is no longer owned by the original owners because this was terrible! No flavor!! I asked for spicy and this lomein was dry with nothing on it. The order came out so fast packed in black bowls and a bunch of Saran Wrap, leading me to believe their items are pre packed and warmed up. I was so in love with this place and will never go again.

The Kung Pao was burnt. Over onioned. Just awful.

The dim sum are obviously prepackaged. The pork and crab soup dumplings are bland and flavorless and for the $12 price, only 4 served was ridiculous.
The stir fry beef tenderloin is flavored correctly but the onions are under-cooked and tastes half raw.
The hunan pork with black bean sauce was slightly under-seasoned, but the pork was over marinated and is breaking apart into small chunks. And the green pepper waa chopped terribly, uneven And messy.
The two dishes were both Very Small portions in a huge plate. For a place with no table service, this seems Very inconsistent with the overall image of the restaurant.
Overall knife skills were careless and messy. Meats and the greens are both cut unevenly. Definitely will not recommend. Way over priced for the below average food. If I could i would give the food 0 star.

The beef and broccoli was delicious! My only complaint was that you have to pay extra for steamed rice. It definitely should come included in the meal, especially for the price ($20+ tax).

Ma Po tofu was so good. (Gluten free and vegan, GF/VG) Kind of pricey but very nice. Do have to buy rice separately. Gluten free and vegan (gf/vg). Friends got bao and orange chicken. Latte took some time.
Food was excellent and good prices too so will sure to visit next time we're here. Definitely recommend to everyone who loves Chinese cuisine 👍🏾👍🏾
