My review might be different if I went for lunch instead of dinner, as it was relatively empty and some things interesting characters came in and wandered the restaurant while we were eating.

First, and most importantly, the food was incredible. We ordered a bunch of dim sum, and a scallion and egg fried rice. Overall, we ordered the pork soup dumplings, shrimp shumai, crystal shrimp dumplings, beef pastry, gluttonous, rice, Chinese burger and the scallion and egg fried rice.

The food was delicious, especially the shrimp shumai, the beef pastry, and the fried rice.

The staff was friendly, but unattentive unless prompted by me, but it could’ve just been an awful night.

Will definitely be back for the food, but likely for takeout

Very mediocre. Out of a lot of menu items. Service was kinda odd and lackluster. Won’t be back.

Average food, overpriced and they don't serve you plates, water etc (self serve). The portions are small for the price. We ordered half a duck, it was dry and almost at room temperature and looked like a quarter of a duck. Not recommended

My date and I stopped here for dinner. I was intrigued by the dim sum (they are kind of like appetizers). So we chose crystal dumplings, cumin lamb skewers, and an order of combo meat lo mein to share.
Food was hot, dumplings were freshly made, noodles had good flavor.

significant upgrade from your standard chinese restaurant. we did takeout and everyone enjoyed thoroughly. quite a few of the dishes do have a bit of kick though, so be aware, if you don't like spice. my favorite dishes were the tofu, the eggplant, and the popcorn chicken. all were stars of the show; but not one dish was a disappointment.

I arrived to my hotel around 6PM and there were only few options for open restaurants close by (within a 5-minute walk). This seemed like the best one. I ordered the broccoli chicken and the honey BBQ bao (2 buns in an order). It was good, and the amount of food was just right. The food came out quickly.

This has to be one of the worst locations for this chain. I am beyond disappointed in the atmosphere and service. I watched an elderly patron stand at the counter ordering on the kiosk because no one was around and when they tried to complete the order, they realized the kiosk was for take out only-I then watched this patron stand saying “hello” in an attempt to get anyones attention to assist her. I felt helpless for them and even more irritated at the lack of customer service. I ordered using the kiosk and it was okay yet they need to edit their options because the fried rice combo (shrimp, chicken, and pork i think) has no option to just get shrimp and have the same portion of protein. You can delete the other proteins but it should be a an option of just one protein. I received a text that my order was ready so I went to the counter, only to see not a single worker. A waiter passed by and said nothing! Another worker appeared from the back BLOWING their nose loudly and I was disgusted! After a 5 min wait from the text message, a waiter comes to the counter (mind you the place was empty outside of 3 people sitting at a table and I had clearly asked about my order prior to this) and I had to pass a freaking final exam on every ingredient on the order before he felt comfortable that I was entitled to the food. All I ordered was shrimp fried rice ($20) and when asked what the order was (as he hold the back hidden from me and the receipt facing him) I stated “fried rice” but that was not good enough, he still wouldnt release the bag and I needed to state “with shrimp only” before they were comfortable handing me my bag, as though they had millions ordering! Terrible service and the atmosphere is NOTHING like the other Peter Changs I have visited. Zero out of ten, would not recommend.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the whole state. No cap this place is absolutely delicious, the price is reasonable and the portions are massive

The quality of food was so-so, the taste was nice, the portions big and the prices quite reasonable

Holy moly, the sesame buns were FANTASTIC. I got takeout here last night and happened to order sesame buns. Ate them on the drive home and oh my god they had the perfect crisp on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside, the taro was perfectly sweet without being overpowering, great texture. They were so hot it was hard to eat them - had clearly just been fried, not microwaved or kept in a warmer. Delicious.

The tofu egg drop soup is very mediocre. I added garlic, ginger, & salt and it became somewhat palatable, but I still couldn't finish it due to the textures of the tofu and mushrooms. Your mileage may vary.

The pork & crab soup dumplings were pretty good, though as far as I'm aware there's supposed to be liquid inside the dumplings and it was just a lump of filling in a loose pocket of dough. They tasted good, but I specifically ordered here because I was craving the ones filled with soup.

The mango coconut drink was good. I enjoyed the different textures, and the coconut wasn't tough and chewy like the flaked coconut you'd get in baked goods (I don't like that kind).

Tl;dr: most of the food was pretty good but not outstanding. But I'd drive 20 minutes for those sesame buns again anytime.
