As a fells point native, I wish I could give a 5 star review. We spent over $200 at dinner (2 bottles of wine, SO many entrees because their food is minuscule) my parents were visiting from out of the country, they made us get up immediately after paying the bill. Terrible ambience.
My new favorite restaurant in Baltimore. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday. The restaurant is small and cozy. Squeezing through chairs is part of the experience. I loved the ambiance and charming decor. They have a delicious house salad and the garlic bread is a piece of heaven. We had a fish entree, short rib entree and a pasta dish. Everything was amazing!! They offer a new menu on a regular basis. So good! Highly recommended.
The food was delicious, but the portions were small. As a first-time customer, I found the waitstaff's lack of communication and patience quite disappointing. They seemed to impose their recommendations on us. Additionally, the atmosphere felt a bit cramped. However, I must give credit where it's due: their Belgian chocolate pots for dessert are a must-try. Overall, I don’t think I would return to this restaurant.

Excellent food, personal service and a buzzy atmosphere. Highly recommended!
I’m writing this review from the table because it couldn’t wait. Dinner was absolutely fantastic. This is one of the best dinners in the DMV. I would travel here before I go to 95% of the places in Annapolis or DC.

It was such a lovely meal. The best venison chop I have ever eaten. Fun presentations such as the caviar blinis with a frozen miniture of vodka and the smoked trout pate tasted amazing and were so whimsical. Don't miss dessert. The pot du creme is always smooth and dense with loads of chocolate flavor. Last night, they also had vanilla ice cream with olive oil and fennel dust that was very exciting. Oh, and the cocktail classic and so well made. Try a kettle one extra dirty martini for the win.

First time visiting and won't be the last. Dinner for two after a show, we were offered a table or the bar and we opted for the bar which somehow still managed to have a white tablecloth. Probably the most delicious oysters I ever had to start...maybe they were elevated by the ambience and my delightful companion, or maybe they really were that good. We got the salmon crudo which was lovely - raw but dressed up more european than asian. Fantastic steak frites, fantastic halibut perfectly prepared over lentils. Service at the bar was discreet and allowed us to feel romantic. Great end to a great night.

I went to Peter's Inn with my coworkers and it's a night I truly won't forget. From the outside, the restaurant might look like a dive bar. You wouldn't know this restaurant offers a fine dining experience. The ambiance made me feel like I was in one of those quaint, personal, intimate NYC restaurants. Soft lighting, few tables, very moody. I loved every second of the vibe.
We ordered tons of food. Every appetizer (oysters, shrimp cocktail, pâté, caviar), salad (super simple and delish) and garlic bread (cheesy, herby, no clue what was on it but it was absolutely incredible and I would eat an entire loaf), espresso martinis, Palomas, Negronis, etc.
The entrees change week to week, so don't get to attached to any one thing (follow the Facebook page to get the menu!). It's obvious that they use the freshest ingredients and make every selection with careful consideration. The steak is one of the few items that's always available, and it was simply incredible, seared to perfection, juicy, just delicious. I had the beef short rib in croutes which was unbelievable.
Overall, it's a spot that you must experience. It's perfect for date night, a gathering with friends or a solo night eating at the bar. I can't wait to go back! I would have taken more pics but we dove into everything too quickly!
