We stopped by at this Pitango for a sweet treat after a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. The sipping chocolate and almond tart were very delicious!

I truly used to love coming to this place to get work done. After my few most recent visits, Im not sure if I’d find it in the same position where it once was valued. Seems as if they are pushing away the people that came to work there, and now convert fully to a restaurant / entertainment space.
It’s always a loud event, band, or game night of some sort. On top of that the coffee is pretty close to terrible, this was always common there but it was typically complemented by the work space. Unfortunately, with that being minimized, I personally found not much value in coming back, especially after spending the time looking for parking. The old Pitango will be missed.

I paid $40 for cookies and coffee for 3 people and they served it in a paper cup.

Got a yummy dirty chai & a hot chocolate to go. Nothing was overly sweet. Would return.

Hospitality today often feels like a lost art. I was genuinely surprised. In a world where great service is becoming so rare, her attitude stood out in the best possible way.

I normally do not leave a 20% tip when I am simply standing in line, but her service was refreshing. This is the kind of experience that reminds you why supporting local businesses matters. Truly exceptional.

12/2025 update: Still has the same charm however you may find hair in your food. Drinks are fine. Customer Service handled this one issue smoothly. Only happened once in the 7 years I've been going.

Great place if you need to do some work and have a quick bite or just for coffee. I enjoyed their Red sandwich and dirty Chai! A lady there told me that they will have more beer and wine options soon. Nice view of the water with indoor and outdoor seating.

A solid choice for a breakfast sandwich or a pastry. The location and space is gorgeous, great spaces to work and enjoy your coffee. The sandwiches are simple and solid, if pricey. The pastries are very hit or miss - sometimes awesome, sometimes they taste a little old or stale. A tiny evening wine selection makes this a fun place for anytime of day!

Pointed to the sipping hot chocolate and asked for that and then they gave me hot chocolate with milk in it, then I asked them hey, I was asking for the sipping chocolate and then the workers proceeded to say that I asked for sipping hot chocolate with milk. I bought here so many times before, so how are you telling me that I ordered hot chocolate when I clearly pointed at what I wanted. The workers are blaming me for their own mistake. If I’m pointing at the sipping chocolate, then I want the sipping chocolate, not milk. Make it make sense. Workers are incompetent

One of the spots I grab a light breakfast and some coffee when giving tours of Baltimore. Philly based, but always love checking out local, neighborhood places and small businesses like this. Coffee on point and while I never really grab much to eat, everything generally looks decent, and the prices do not seem exorbitant.

the foccacia bread here is top tier - pillowy texture with delicious chewy crust. a must try. i enjoyed their italian tuna sandwich - savory flavorful and filling. other notables; croissant with mascarpone & jam was heavenly, and the rich velvety sipping chocolate should not be skipped. pre ravens game rush on a sunday; this place was hopping, but staff hustling and efficient. parking was tricky on cobblestone street area in Fells - wear flats.
