I wish there was a middle of the road option for the review system. As far as the big slice, it was pretty good. I especially liked the extra crispy crust. It wasn't out of this world, it was just a good slice. On the other hand the grandma's pizza was a complete disappointment. We were told that is was thin and extra crispy. Turned out it was at least twice as thick as the regular slice and rather doughy. Another thing, that I thought was totally ridiculous was that I "wasn't allowed" to order regular pepperoni on the grandma's, it had to be this sub type salami pepperoni that was quite nasty to say the least. I always thought the idea of pizza was that you can choose your own toppings. Not sure I could repeat based on that as you can find brick oven pizza just as good on local food trucks.

Sometimes the pizza isnt as hot as i want it…but the flavor is always bomb diggity. Sometimes have them rewarm it twice because its nit hot enough…which is annoying

Joey catered my daughter’s bridal shower using his food truck. Everything was perfect! The pizzas were hot and the sides were delicious. The relief of knowing that Joey had it under control minimized the stress of hosting. I highly recommend Pizza di Joey to cater your event!

They were at Pickett Brewery last night. I truly believe this is the best pizza in Baltimore. The crust was perfect, not greasy and the cheese is high quality. I wish I took a photo. Absolutely delicious.
