Absolute worst Pizza Hut experience ever!!! Please don’t go here! This was my second time visiting this location, giving them a second chance because of a bad first experience; really bad decision. This place is the worst in all categories, expect to wait almost an hour.

I can’t ever get my pizza on time when I come here. Even when I order ahead, I still wait AT LEAST 45 extras minutes. Currently waiting on my 5:30 pick up at, what is now 6:25 and an employee walked out mid shift. Save your time and go somewhere else. Never again.

Not sure what the issue is at this location if it's not enough staff or what but the customer service is terrible. My order said it was was done on the app 15mins ago. I been waiting here for 20mins now. No one will even come to the window when you call to ask to check on your order. I can see that my order is done but no one is coming to the register. Don't go to this locatiom you going to be waiting forever.

My experience with this location on 11/14/25 is probably the worst customer service experience that I have ever had. At 5:03pm I placed an online delivery order at this location. I was in constant communication with DoorDash until they cancelled the pick up order at 5:48 and advised me to contact the store. I called the store at 6:13pm and was placed on hold for 11 minutes. I hung up and redialed at 6:25 pm and was advised that my order was ready but waiting on a door dash driver and that I could pick it up. I arrived at the store around 6:32. On the call I indicated that I would pick up the pizza but that I would not pay for a delivery fee. Spoke with the young lady at the counter and was advised that they were making my order fresh. At 6:45pm I inquired about the delay. After fumbling around no action. Wound up cancelling the order completely about 2 hours after the original order. 2 things, they claim they were busy but in my opinion on a Friday night, they were incredibly inefficient. I sincerely hope this locations gets it together as historically I have not had issues in the last couple years.

Constructive Feedback for Management: Pizza Hut, 1388 Taylor Ave
I stopped by for a pickup order and ended up waiting close to an hour. It was clear the staff was overwhelmed, orders were burned, mixed up, and given to the wrong customers. The issue wasn’t laziness, it was lack of leadership and process. Here’s what could’ve turned the night around:
1. Manager takes command, not the oven.
The manager should’ve stepped away from cooking and focused on managing the floor, communicating with customers, calming the situation, and giving clear direction to the team. You can’t lead from the kitchen when the front is on fire.
2. Address customers immediately.
A simple 2–3 minute announcement goes a long way:
“We’re having an issue with order accuracy. Please give us 5 minutes to verify which orders are ready and which need to be remade. We’ll update you shortly.”
People are patient when they feel informed. Silence creates frustration.
3. Cross-reference orders and inventory.
One or two team members should immediately:
• Check what’s already been made.
• Cross-check it against what’s showing in the computer system.
• Identify what’s missing, burned, or duplicated.
This tells you what you actually have and what needs to be remade.
4. Organize completed orders.
Every order (pizza, wings, breadsticks, desserts) should be kept together and labeled in the heating area, not scattered around the counter or unorganized. At better-run stores, each complete order stays boxed and bagged in one section until the customer’s name is called.
5. Delegate clearly.
• Two people focus only on cooking and prepping new items.
• One handles boxing and prepping for pickup.
• One person manages cross-referencing and updates the list.
• The manager handles communication and refunds.
Everyone has a lane. No confusion.
6. Follow-up with updates.
If you told customers to give you 5 minutes, check back in 5 minutes. Even if it’s not fully fixed yet, transparency earns patience.
This wasn’t a staffing issue, it was a leadership issue. The good news is that’s fixable. A little structure and communication could’ve turned a chaotic hour into a 15-minute recovery.

There's a woman who works here that causes an extremely uninviting atmosphere. Highly belligerent and completely disinterested in her job and the desires of the customers.

Absoultely weak people working here. Showed up for an order from DoorDash, didnt get asked what I needed for 10 minutes, didnt get the order for 20 minutes, and they were dead slow, in more ways then 1.

Ordered a pizza yesterday- pan pizza extra cheese light sauce beef onions mushrooms. There was no beef on the pizza, it wasn’t pan, the crust was hard and it was extra sauce and regular cheese. I said I rlly want this pizza and they usually do ok so I try again today. I have been waiting an hour and 40min for a pizza and no answer at the restaurant. Idk what’s up with them but this is crazy.

Took awhile but they got me right
This Pizza Hut location is fairly new to the area and I have ordered several times. Sometimes the store is really busy. Today, it wasn't too busy. I always use the app to order and the timing was very accurate for this order. The staff were personable and professional. I ordered the Big New Yorker which has become one of my favorite pizzas. It is a winner for Pizza Hut.
