This place really is amazing. The staff seems happy and well trained. The owner is a great man and is always very professional and fair with people. This is a baltimore staple and is worth checking out any time of the day. Lunch is good and dinner is even better. Wines galore and plenty of good vibes all day long.
The lamb sub was FANTASTIC and Eric Myers served delicious drinks!
I tried the rotisserie chicken with curry sauce, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. The food was great!!!
Very nice place snd good I love the bartenders
Always quiet n empty every visit ??♀️
Super good food, fresh and well prepared with great service.
Worst restaurant experience of my life! Visited the location on 9/25 around 1:30pm with a colleague. Informed the waiter that we were waiting for a third. It took a ridiculous amount of time to first be served water, cleaning products were left at the table, we had to ask a number of times for a menu, we were never asked if we wanted anything other than water or if we wanted to order appetizers while we waited. We then waited a ridiculous amount of time to put our order in...to the point where we saw people who’d come in at the same time as our third actually being served. When I finally got the waiters attention and tried to explain our aggravation his response was “I already know how this is going to go and y’all should just leave”. We did just that! Never got his name but he knows who he is and he should NOT be in the service industry. PERIOD.
The food w as better the last time I came

I can't say enough about Plates Restaurant! When we have guests visiting our Mt. Vernon offices, we always try to make it to Plates. Aside from being an awesome Greek-Mediterranean-American-Fusion menu, their lamb burger is OFF THE HOOK! The wait staff is always incredibly courteous and hospitable, and Valanti is the best owner/host - you know you'll get more than amazing food when he's in! Great conversation, too! :)

Good drinks and great burgers!
Cool spot in the Merritt gym. You don't need a membership to go there. The food is amazing. Great Greek fusion food. Very flavorful. Awesome beer list. It's definitely a hidden gem. In a gym. No pun intended. The also do a fantastic job catering. Best kept secret!
The portion sizes are good but the taste is never the same twice which is disappointing. Sometimes you can get dry chicken, sometimes perfect. Today I ordered a chicken cheesesteak as a wrap. It comes with fries. I usually LOVE the fries. Today I could not enjoy them. They were so full of pepper it was unbearable. The wrap was peppery too. I had to decide eat the wrap or the fries. I couldn't tolerate the pepper from both. I actually tried wiping the pepper off the fries just so could eat a few.
Delicious food, great atmosphere and real cool bartender.
Food Great! Service Excellent. Only con, that is shortly lived is the wait time. Reason being food is made fresh and not microwaved... great spot for a delishes delight...
