This place is just old school. A neighborhood corner bar established in 1934 that feels every bit of it. The locals were very friendly and welcoming, and the bartender was great. Cool place to knock back some cheap beers.
Oh my God I cannot say enough about this place the bar maid or barmaids are wonderful very friendly atmosphere it's like walking into cheers this is how nice this bar is I love this place. My mother even held me a surprise birthday party there which I thought was wonderful and I was very surprised what a great neighborhood bar.
If you were to look up "seedy bar" in the dictionary, Pols Cafe would be featured prominently. But in the best way possible. It's an interesting mixture of people: from older men drinking in silence to slightly younger people playing bar games (slot type machines). But don't come here expecting to find the latest bar for millennials to love ironically. This is the real divey deal where real people drink to escape their all-too-real lives.
