The tacos could’ve had a little bit more flavor but overall they were still really good would go again. The chicken birra tacos were affordable too.

I should’ve just stuck to my usual the steak tacos. I decided to try their fajitas and shrimp quesadilla and I am not happy. The shrimp was not peeled, nor was it cleaned and deveined. Now I’m stuck with a shrimp quesadilla and I’m afraid to eat it since this shrimp wasn’t cleaned I wonder if that shrimp is clean

Top notch place! Best authentic Mexican food I’ve had in Baltimore. Amazing mole, birria quesadilla, tamales, & pupusas! Great beans and salsas alongside. Will absolutely be back to try the whole menu.
I honestly can’t believe it’s taken me this long to try Poncho’s. Best tacos in Baltimore for sure - very comparable to the famous Taco Bar out in MoCo but honestly I’d say Poncho’s is better. Their tamales, plantains, and chips and guac were so good. I’m so happy to have them in the neighborhood!

I was staying nearby and decided to give Ponchos a try after seeing the great reviews. I almost didn't order the chicken mole because I had been disappointed with the last few Mexican restaurants in Maryland with mole that had none of the richness that this dish should have. I'm so glad that I tried it. The moment I took my first bite, I knew that I would be ordering this again. The mole was rich and complex with the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. It brought me back to mole that I have had in Mexico prepared over the span of several hours. I also ordered the steak taco which was delicious and generously filled as well. This restaurant is well-worth the hype!

I ordered a plain cheese quesadilla from this restaurant and the cashier didn’t know how to put it in to the register. That’s not a big deal, but after finally getting the quesadilla, the cheese inside wasn’t even melted! It was terrible honestly. Idk it isn’t letting me add photos, but I do have them. I also ordered chips and queso OFF THEIR MENU and they said they don’t sell that. I don’t understand why it is on the menu then. They were nice employees at the restaurant though.It over all wasn’t the best experience.
