I floated the idea of having my mom’s birthday party here back in the summer, and we ended up hosting it just last week. The manager was more than happy to help — no matter the size of the party. They were super flexible, easy to work with, and great at communicating. Coming from the food industry and making arrangements from out of town, it can be a gamble booking a place without seeing it first. The Poplar Inn exceeded all my expectations — it was spotless, welcoming, and set up beautifully. The food was also incredible — the burger and crab dip were absolutely delicious and a hit with everyone. Kelly and Ricky went above and beyond to make our experience feel special and personal, not just like “another booking.” I’d highly recommend this place for parties, gatherings, or even just dinner. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

The food and service are near the top or at the top in my opinion. I had loaded nachos with grilled shrimp and blackened chicken. The food was delicious the bar tender was great.

Kelly our bartender was informative, attentive and sweet. Her experience and professionalism is top notch. We ordered the lamb pops and crab cakes with a mussel and white wine appetizer and none of which disappointed. They were excellent in every sense of the word. I highly recommend this hidden gem of establishments.

Cool neighborhood bar with good broiled crabcakes. Decent happy hour prices and friendly staff. The music is too loud for a small space but you can still have a conversation without shouting. It's a half step above being considered a dive bar so don't look for the Ritz because it's nothing fancy. Cool place to grab a bite and drink with friends and not break the bank.

I absolutely love Poplar Inn. The bartenders are all amazing, the food is great, and the crowd is fun. They do a lot to keep the customers happy and it's a great place to watch the games...Orioles, Ravens, Caps, etc. Karaoke on Sunday nights is the best; everyone always has a great time. Oh, and the pickle shots...BOOM! I love it here.

Poplar was an older staple in our community & was loved by many. Now it has become a new & fresh spot to hang out. There are many new & different food options, great drinks, & the best service from the bartenders. Do yourself a favor grab one of their burgers & an ice cold brew. You won't be disappointed. ✌️
