Came here on Sunday 05/25/25. I simply came to this location because they were the closest location to me that stayed open until 10pm. I arrived at 9pm and was turned away saying they were “closed”. I went back to my car to Double check what time they close online and it said 10 PM. I went back to the window to ask for clarification, and was repeatedly told “we’re closed” by a girl with blonde hair trying to get smart. There was another girl in there with short black hair, who kept on laughing and ki-ki-ing with her friend. Being that I drove 17 min just for this was disappointing. If it was true that you guys close on Sunday at 9pm, that should’ve been posted on the website.
The service was great. My favorite wasn't there, but if I gi e them 24 hours notice they will make banana favor. I think that great.
HANDS UP A wonderful place.
I love this Rita's location. The staff are always so professional and kind.
Hubby went to get us two gelatis and when he brought them home we realized they had no icecream on the bottom. No big deal. Since they were closing in about five minutes we called to let them know we weren’t going to make it back in time to have them remade and the lady said that’s how they’re supposed to be made? She also said a lot of people don’t like icecream on the bottom so you have to request that…? Maybe it’s a new policy it was our first visit of the season but fyi if you get a gelati request custard on the bottom!
I grew up eating water ice aka Italian ice. It's a Philly thing. It is one of the few regional foods that travels well.
Rita's not only travels well but the addition of custard/soft serve ice cream has evolved what was being sold back in the day.
I only wish that one or two stores remained open year round because when it's gone it's gone.

My gift card wouldnt work and it was taking so long my custard and ice were melting so I just paid for it. I think he just didn't know how to ring it up because I checked the balance online afterwards and it came up no problem for me.
Also that watermelon sour patch kid flavor is crazy sour, tastes nothing like the candy. The ice was very runny at this location, too.

Super quick service, I got the blendini and it was delicious, my only issue here ate the prices, one large, one kid, one small and I spend $15 dollars, so they are roughly 5 each, prices go up and portions decrease, but it's a great idea for a sweet treat when you are in the mood for dessert
