Love this Rita’s and the staff are always so friendly. They were telling us tips on the credit card apparently go to the store and not the employees, which I thought was crazy. We made sure and gave them cash directly to ensure it went to them.

The staff was friendly and energetic. The price was great and the Frozen drink and Gilati hit the spot.

Love this place and so do many others in College Park are surrounding areas. Fun and quick place to with walk window service to order your favorite or try some new flavor of frozen yogurt with a diverse array of toppings. Often you will notice a line from the busy Baltimore Ave/Rte 1, but this part of the fun and charm b/c it is worth the wait for your favorite dessert. Note: this unit is only open during warm months (early spring) to the end of summer. Enjoy!

We ate at Ritas every night while staying next door. It was awesome. The line was always long, but it was worth the waiting.

Delicious frozen concoctions based on Italian ice and frozen custard (don't ask, just try it). After a dinner, all I have room for is a small (child's portion) of vanilla frozen custard. And - who knew - there are Rita's franchises all around the area!

We visited Rita's on the first day of spring to get an italian ice only to find out the small drink was free on the first day of Spring. Despite the free cost, the flavors of the italian ice was superb!

We stopped here after a day at Great Falls Park. We tried the chocolate and orange cream custards. Both were fantastic! Creamy and flavorful! Glad we did not discover this place sooner or we would have gone every day of our 4 day stay. I would love to have tried the Italian ice.

The friendliest and most polite staff I have ever encountered in an ice cream stand. The ice is so tasty and favors enough to suit everyone!

I went for the chocolate custard, added hot fudge, Heath bar, whipped cream and a cherry....and ended up with a scrumptious hot fudge sundae. I spoke with a Rita's regular and he assured me that whenever Rita's is open there is a line. He schooled me not to show up on a cool rainy day. I saw lots of people carrying containers with 4 ice flavors, so I hope to try that next time.

This place serves you a variety of ice treats with different flavors that is combined with custard again lots of options. And you can add top-ins like mini m&m's.

Our friends were familar with this place but I had never heard of it before. The custard/slush combo (blendini) was very good. Since I wasn't sure how the process worked, I just ordered something simple to me. I had the apple slush/vanilla custard with caramel. Very tasty. the prices are comparable to Baskin Robins or Coldstone Creamery. It was a good thing we stopped by when we did, because they were closing the next day until March 2016. The next time you're in the College Park area check out Rita's.

I am hopelessly in love with Rita! My favorite flavors of Rita's Italian Ice are the Cherry, Key Lime, Lemon, and Grape. I am also a big fan of the Chocolate, but no Rita's I have been to lately is offering the Chocolate. At Rita's you are encouraged to sample the flavors. They greet you with a big "Hello" and then ask "Would you like to sample any flavors?" My partner prefers the Wild Black Cherry and Georgia Peach. Italian Ices are wonderful for us. It's one of the few lactose free desserts my partner can enjoy. We wish there were Rita's in Florida where we spend most of the year. Rita's is currently transitioning from Frozen Custards (as on their road signs) to Soft-Serve Ice Cream. This change is because of the nationwide shortage of eggs due to the outbreak of avian flu.
