Pangang curry was so watery no flavor
if the overwhelming public restroom smell doesn’t deter you (in the restaurant, not just the bathrooms), maybe the wire and baby roach review will. not only are they too expensive, but their portions are shockingly small. food is not good, that’s not only my opinion but also the opinion of the 4 other people i went with. oh i’ve also never had a more aloof waitress
I lived in Baltimore like 3 years ago, and I just ordered drunken noodles in hyattsville, and….long story short - no drunken noodles will ever be as good as rod dee Thai’s. My gf and I have been to several places over the past few years to get drunken noodles and none come anywhere close as here. Long story short I’m coming back ASAP cuz I miss Rod tee thai’s drunken noods so much.
Extremely disappointed by the pad thai and red curry. Will not try again!
It's always empty when I dine in, and a little cold, but the food is good!
The food at Rod Dee Thai was great. I got Kai Pao with tofu and edamame. The restaurant was very easy to find off of Charles Street with a small cozy vibe. The only issue is the smell when you enter wad of spoiled water or sewage which is why I gave the atmosphere a 3-star. There needs to be a deep cleaning to neutral that odor.
ordered sticky rice with mango for the first time never had it before
its sooooo good
Great Thai Great hospitality
Highly recommend this spot!
The atmosphere isn’t anything to write home about, but the food definitely makes up for it. It’s super authentic Thai food, and I’m pretty sure the chef or owner came out to check on us—he was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
I ordered the tofu pad thai with a spice level of 2, and whew—it was spicy. Full disclosure: I’m a total spice beginner, so maybe I’m just sensitive, but I also think the food being hot (temperature-wise) made the spice hit even harder. Next time I’ll go for level 1. Still, despite the heat, the dish was packed with flavor and honestly so delicious.
Also, their Thai iced tea? So good. Sweet, creamy, and super authentic. I’d absolutely recommend this place, especially for takeout. The people there are friendly, the food is on point, and it’s clear they care about what they serve.
Ordered 1 beef, 1 crunchy pork belly. Paid $1 for peanut sauce......got 2 pork belly and no peanut sauce.
Thanks for trying, I guess????

I love this place, is it really closed?
Incredibly polite and understanding… I have some food restrictions but they did keep that in mind and yet delivered the tastiest and healthiest noodle dish. Since then I have visited frequently.

The best Thai place in Baltimore. When they opened during the beginning of covid, I ate here everyday. The ambiance is amazing, the menu is amazing and the staff are super friendly and nice. They always decorate on holidays and their prices are the most reasonable I seen around the Baltimore city area. This place is Better than all the other ones that charge way more and are not as authentic. The staff are all from Thailand and cook themselves and are amazing. If you visit, definitely get their Kao soi. The portion sizes are really good too. Never a complaint with Rod Dee Thai. Their hours of operation are great on weekends too if you’re out and about late night. Definitely the place to try for real Thai cuisine
it is delicious!
