Saturday night, some dummies running security. Showed them my ID and they refused to let me in, saying my id shouldn't be able to bend. They choose random people and power trip over them. This has happened to a few of my friends in the past who are over 21. They don't know how to do their jobs - hire better security that know how to properly check IDs.

I lived in Philly for 3 years, but the pretzels here were the best pretzels I’ve ever had! The games were a highlight of the night, especially the bowling. This place is definitely the place to be on a Friday night. The DJ's be amazing. The cheesestake egg rolls are great. They have bowling and pool and just a great time to play games and relax.

They said the kitchen was closed but the kept bringing out food for the rest of the night (this was at about 4 pm) then the ravens were playing the chiefs and lost and as soon as the game was over the dg started playing a Taylor swift song — this place

Was in line to get in, gave my ID to the bouncer (I am 23 with an out of state ID) he immediately shoved me and told me to "get the fuck out" thinking my ID was not real and pocketed it. I told him I am 23 and to not put his hands on me and he shoved me again and said get out. His coworker later apologised and let me in the back door and said that it was uncalled for. Very unethical line of security, guy should be fired immediately and was clearly looking to pick a fight. Was respectful the whole time despite him putting hands on me for no reason. Should be an immediate fire in my books, wouldn't recommend based on service.

It’s impossible to hear anything or anyone when it’s even moderately busy.Do wish that online ordering was available and the kitchen was open more often. I’m not a drinker but i absolutely will buy snacks. Also i wish you guys had game nights. Or nights where there’s a cover charge (let’s say $20) and you get a free beer and can play all the games you want.

WORST service ever. Went on a Saturday to watch football. Bartenders all drunk and high, any simple drink order took 20+ minutes from any of the bartenders, one woman had to come back multiple times because she couldn't remember Tito's and club from the counter to literally turning around to make the drink. The other woman just wanted to complain endlessly about how mean the cook was because he expected her to come pick up food timely from the window instead of walking around flirting. Not sure where the owner is in all of this, but he will be out of business soon enough. There are far too many choices in the area to put up with this nonsense.

Came here for my best friend's joint bachelor(ette) party with her fiance and their friends. This spot has college bar vibes. It's an amazing spot for a fun night out. She came in her bride gear and a lot of people were super friendly and congratulated her. Ropewalk Tavern is pretty big and there are a lot of fun activities inside. Whether you want to play arcade games, pool, dance, or just drink, you can do it all.The DJ played pretty good music that was fun to dance to. Like most popular going out spots, as the night went on it was harder to hear each other. There is a corner upstairs near the bar where it is quieter. The bartenders here are pretty slammed, but they're pretty fair when approaching people who have been waiting. If you want a bar with college vibes and fun dancing, this is a great spot for it.
