Honestly, the food was delicious! We had a large table of eight, and we were seated right at the front door. I wish there was another place that we had could've been seated, because right by the front door is not the optimum spot. Since we were a party of eight, 20% tip was included. Our server certainly acted like they knew this, paying very little attention to us. They were guaranteed 20% and did not do anything to earn an extra tip on top of that. We had to ask for water and other drinks to be refilled. Our entrées were basically thrown down in front of us and no one knew who ordered what entrée. We had three different people helping our table. It's a shame, because the food really was delicious. I probably wouldn't return because of the service.

Made reservations on OpenTable for 8:45pm when I got there on time they said the kitchen had already closed and the owner did not reach out to say that they were closing earlier. I've been to this restaurant before and it was really good. I cannot believe how unprofessional they were this time! Extremely unprofessional!!!!

Had a nice dinner at Sammy's. The good: our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The place looks nice, I like the high ceilings, it gives a very spacious feel. My wife, who is a picky eater, thought the tagliatelle alfredo was the best alfredo dish she's had in years. The bread and dipping sauce was excellent. I ate way too much of it. The disappointing: Some of the recipes are unbalanced, with a supporting ingredient dominating the dish. The crab toast appetizer came with plenty of crab, cooked well, in a nice sauce, but it was overloaded with capers so instead of crab being the dominant flavor, caper was. The thyme in the butter sauce with the duck ravioli dominated the dish. I could barely taste the duck. Which was a shame as it looked good. It was a nicely composed dish. We'll probably return, because my wife likes the alfredo and I'm hoping I just chose poorly and other dishes will be as good as the tagliatelle alfredo.

Excellent as always. Please look at your check. We were a party of 4 yet they tacked on a 20% gratuity without informing us. We added 20% not realizing this but when I called once I was home they were extremely apologetic and credited the additional 20%. Other than that it was awesome. We can't wait to return

Generally a very good restaurant. However, they did not do a good job on a very busy "show" night of managing turnover, or the lack thereof, so we waited 25 minutes for a table on the second floor (we specifically requested a first floor table in the reservation), and it took so long to get our main course that there wasn't time to eat them before we had to leave. I hope they figure out how to improve that situation.

This is my second time at Sammy, first time in Hunt valley location. I am disappointed at my experience in North Charles location. Came in, waitress saw us and walked away, didn't tell us to wait or ask. 5 min later another one came to get us. Bruschetta was way too salty compared to first time we had it, the seafood pasta was bland. We weren't that hungry so we ordered just one portion of pasta, the waitress asked us if we want to split that and we agreed, only to get a bill with 5$ fee of splitting a plate without any disclosure. The location is also hard to get a close parking spot, overall a very disappointing experience compared to the other location with extremely friendly staff that don't judge you by what you wear!
