I really wish I looked at the reviews. I use to eat here 5 yrs ago. 2 days ago i got some food from here and to my surprise i had food poisoning. I know its them because that was the only thing I ate that day. The rice was not done and no vegtable and something wasnt right with the chicken. Be careful..

Been coming here for two decades. The food portions get smaller & smaller over the years. The fried rice is extremely light on Soy Sauce with no onions, peas, or carrots in it. The trays used to be bigger and they used to stuff the trays so much that it would hardly close. Nowadays, they give way more rice then actual meat. They fill the big part & small corner of the tray with rice, fill the other small corner with veggies, then skimp out by throwing very few pieces of meat on top. & they still have the nerve to go up on their price. This place still gets a loyal crowd because of how long this business been here but it is nowhere near as good as it used to be. I would give it 5 stars in the past. They don't even stand out and hand out samples of their Teriyaki chicken like they used to either. The good smelling chicken teriyaki smell draws me near then I leave heavily disappointed. ?

Overall the attitude that I got at the register because I added on a soda the guys name on the receipt says bill but that's not his real name..he got so mad and swung the credit card swiper around to cancel my order to put it through again because I added the soda and pushed it back towards me.. the anger in his face was horrifying..yall need to do better or go push a broom and be a janitor so you won't have to deal with the public

I just ordered double chicken and paid $1.99 more than the $8.89 for the meal. However, I did not get double chicken and I did complain but was rushed off.Not to mention my credit card was mysteriously declined and I later was told by my credit card company that the cashier input $12,903.51 as the cost of the meal!!! I am complaining to their corporate office in Ontario, Canada

Here is what I normally buy from Sarku: fried rice, vegetables, chicken and shrimp with extra chicken. They used to add vegetables to fried rice. Not anymore! Fried rice does not have onions either. In addition, I pay extra (50¢) for fried rice. I don't have a problem with paying extra for fried rice. The problem is that I am paying for steamed rice with soy sauce, and a little oil. Seriously?As for service, they serve little meat so you end up asking for extra meat. They give 6 pieces only of shrimp. There is no hospitality. People serving food are not friendly or cheerful.I don't go to Sarku often like I used to.

Horrific customer service. Mexican chef chewed gum the entire time and was very nasty/mean. Not to mention he added no sauce to my order. I got a refund. Choose another place. These people here are dirty.
