The food really be hitting. The stew is A1 and the Goat, so good!! Service is always great, Not really my type of vibe but everyone is respectful there, I haven't had any problems. The only African spot I go to!
Also it's in the hood FYI.
The owner came greeted me & made sure I was ok.The bitter leaf soup was everything. Cleanness, atmosphere friendly was on point. Nice portions & good prices.
Their swallows are good, Oya, Egusi, Okro, Ogbono, bitterleaf, Vegetable soups
I’m just leaving this place and I’m not sure what day of the week I have to go here to get the service that the other reviews are speaking of but it is NOT on a Tuesday! There seems to be one person working, and she is a visibly elderly woman. I ordered my food to be picked up at 12:15 today (5/27) and when I arrived, she did not know of any order placed online and scoffed when I said I ordered online. Then I had to show her my order THEN it was made. I also ordered chicken, with fried rice and plantain. When I got my order there were no plantains in the tray. I had to wait 10 minutes for her to come back to the front to let her know about the missing item. To which she responded very aggressively that she told me she didn’t have plantains. I asked for a refund for the plantains that I paid for and was ignored. So rude, so nasty! And she treated the other customers poorly as well. It seems that she does not know how to work any of the tech to accept online orders and needs to be trained OR just have someone who is willing to learn present while she’s there. There needs to be at least one person cooking in the back and one person in the front taking orders because if not, you’ll have to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to come to the front to check if new customers have arrived. Service and atmosphere was 0/10, I will not be back.
Nice food 🍱
By far the best Nigerian food spot in the DMV. It filled me up and the price is unbeatable!! The food was so good I forgot to record and capture the jollof rice. The smell alone was divine. Chefs kiss. Coming here again!!
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Nigerian restaurant. The associates working here are not only unprofessional but also downright disrespectful to customers. They show no urgency, no acknowledgment when you arrive, and the service is disorganized. You could ring the bell for assistance, and no one would even bother to respond.
The pricing is inconsistent—one day, you pay one amount for a dish like okro soup, and the next day, you’re charged a completely different price for the same item. There’s absolutely no transparency.
The lack of leadership is evident. The business owner is rarely present to oversee operations, leaving the place in chaos. At this rate, it’s hard to imagine this restaurant staying in business for long unless they make some serious changes. I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food or respectful service.

The oha soup has too much cocoyam, too thick and you barely feel the oha leaf. The taste is good

I’ve been eating at Saviours since they first opened and have always had amazing food and amazing experiences. Saviour himself is kind and hospitable. However, within the past few months I have stopped in, I have been more than dissatisfied with the young women and men that work at the front and take orders. They are nasty and rude. You call to order and they rush you off of the phone. Especially the men. Why so hostile? It’s clear that they aren’t formally trained in customer service. Beware. Try Suya Spot in Towson. They’re always friendly to the customers and the food is great :-).
