Once again the whole pack of 647 bagels are moldy. This has been happening in the last few months! I'm done with Schmidt's!
Drivers! Tight lot. Had to back in between row of trailers to get turned around. Tight dock. Slide axles up to back in. Had a pickup truck parked in front of me. Got empty within an hour. Steve the unloader was cool.
I deliver Yeast here regularly and they are almost always ready to receive the load.
I worked here for 10 years in the industrial Engineering department (Maintenance). Compared to other companies in the industry the salary is kind of low, but for anyone looking to start a career in this field it’s probably the best option there is. They will accept anyone who is willing to work and learn and they will train you. Most people spend a few years learning the trade and then move on to make more money. Myself included. I don’t understand why ownership would allow their best guys to leave that way rather than structuring something to compensate them for all their experience and skill, but that’s just how it is there. This is not to say you can’t make a decent living there because you can, but just not what could be made elsewhere. The high pace makes for a great learning environment. It’s extremely hot there, but most places are. That place will always be like a second home to me. I loved working there. If they could match my salary I would go back. That will never happen though for reason I’ve explained here already. They have extremely good benefits compared to anywhere else. Cheapest and great coverage. 401k is kind of low. Overall, best place for low experience people and a great place to work, but not somewhere to expect $100k a year or more. I always send people to them for jobs still and I’ve been gone for a couple years now. It’s just a great place to work.
Such a great place to be employed with, very family oriented and everyone treats each other like family. The fresh product that's produced smells amazing and it's such a delightful experience everyday.. I've never been employed somewhere and see ownership so compassionate about the product being made and the quality they repeatedly achieve.
I am Truck driver and made a delivery here, great people no delay and on my way quickly
I have been eating Schmitz blue ribbon bread since the 60s I bought a loaf of Schmitz blue ribbon king size bed yesterday September 30 from Walmart. It’s expiration date or sell by date is October 6. It is stale and crust is hard.
ABSOLUTELY Terrible!!. I bought this Companys loaf of Bread AND Hot Dog rolls at Walmart on Saturday and they are ALL Blue and "SUPER MOLDY" already. I had to throw them ALL away. I have now wasted MY hard earned money on this garbage product and I need all my money during this inflation and now I wasted some and it hurts!!.. The "best if used" Date is June 3rd and it's not even June 3rd yet!!. I also call about it and NOONE even answers the phone all I get is a voice mail from Kimberly Morton who says in the voice-mail that I get who also says is in charge of product issues that she is out of town until June 7th!!. Now how is it a Company that is worth 330 Million Dollars like they are have only 1 person that answers the phones for product issues and complaints and she is out of town until June 7th?!.. This is absolutely "ridiculous"!!. I won't ever buy these products again and I will surely make sure to let others know not to buy them either on my social media pages and my youtube page to my hundred and hundreds of followers and also my Family Members. By them not having someone to speak to over the phone with this Company about this issue it has made this SITUATION FAR, FAR WORSE!!.
Please let me know where I can fine your delicious products in the Charlotte NC area.
Hot dog buns through Weis Markets... Never split 50/50 down length of bun.. more Like 80/20... 75/25.... Bun falls apart when you load dog and condiments... 2023 quality control...

Absolutely outstanding what you guys did for stranded people. A little kindness goes a long way. Keep up the good work.
Any company that helps people like they approved their driver to do for stranded motorists in VA is a 5 star company.
When I-95 in VA was shut down with an ice storm, stranding folks for over a day, truck driver Ron Hill & owner Chuck Peterakis came to the rescue to feed folks with bread off the back of the truck. I’m gonna buy some buns on my next trip out. Thanx for having a heart!
Just heard on SIGNAL BOOST, XM127, Schmidt helped out on the I95 snow jam, 2022, this is what people should be doing for others. Now I'm hungry for some sweet rolls,?
Thank you for opening your truck and sharing with all the people stuck on the 95 in the snow storm! This is what decent people do!
