I ordered the catfish, I added 2 fried wings and 1 turkey wings! The turkey wings fell of the bone when I picked it up with my fork. It was so flavorful. The catfish, greens and cabbage are perfect for my liking. The fact that it was delivered and was still pipping out is top tier. They have yet to disappoint. Have done pick up, delivery and dine in. Always been satisfied

NEVER AGAIN!! Ordered the turkey wing dinner via Uber eat this evening 12/21/24. Absolutely terrible. There is a reason the turkey wings are priced significantly lower than their other meals. The turkey wings were tough, the collards were mushy and tasted burnt. The entire meal was clearly old and not fresh. Small business cannot ask for our support then provide crappy service/food. You will lose your customers.

Tonight was my first time ordering from this place me and my husband both got two dinners. One was the salmon with collard greens and yams and his was the fried catfish with Mac and collard greens. We usually order from other soul food spots that have phenomenal food however we were on Uber eats and this place popped up so we decided to try it after seeing some of the reviews and the food was disappointing. First bite of the salmon taste like strong, lemon mixed with salt and the taste got more and more strong each bite. I selected pan not blacking and not fried so I’m not sure why they over season and over squeezed lemon on a skinny piece of salmon. When I tasted the collard greens, it taste like they were soaked in saltwater for hours, The only thing that was fair was the yams but they were too sweet. My husband’s catfish was supposed to be fried hard because that’s what we chose on the option however, his catfish was mushy. The macaroni was oily and wet with no flavor and barely any cheese. His collard greens also tasted the same soak with salt. Highly disappointed I’m not sure if we order from here on a Bad night, but the cooks there need to do better. I make way better soul food than this spot. We could’ve saved $50.

three times I've gotten food from them and only one time it was right wouldn't suggest it to Noone and will never be going back 🤔

I ordered online and did not receive two of the sides I ordered like one is a little understandable but two is ridiculous😡

My first time at Bertha's Soul Food was a disappointment. Although the young lady who took my order was very nice, the food on the other hand was terrible. I ordered fried wings with fries to go. When I got back to my hotel, I was not happy. The chicken you could tell was old and had absolutely no flavor, and the fries were no better. They were old and flavorless as well. I will not try them again.

We went here on 11/1/2024 around 9PM.. we both ordered platters (whiting and turkey wings). It took our food so long to come out that we never received it. I ordered Pink Moscato as well. We sat at the bar and the bartender was cool fr. The place wasn’t packed at all for a Friday. We waited until 10PM and still no food. So we left and just paid for the wine. We got one update like 20 mins after the order was placed. But nothing else lol even when we just decided to leave and just pay for the wine. We waited for an hour before we decided to just leave. And the staff was COOL. So let’s get that clear. But it was just not enough communication when it came to our food. Come on Bertha’s lol..
