Ordered through door dash. Food was on point. Greens were very flavorful. Sweet potatoes was fire. The fish made me wanna slap somebody momma. Definitely will be returning.

First and last time going ! I ordered five fried wings Mac and collard greens they gave me grilled soggy chicken , watery Mac , and a hard clump of unseasoned greens. The service was confusing because they seemed nice asking me if I wanted my fried chicken well done but I got a text 2 minutes later saying it was done . I assumed they were obviously making the chicken prior to be ordering right ! Wrong I literally threw all the food up giving it a try because I’m already home ! So wrong and nasty . For it to be called a soul food place seems like those people have a soul ! Good luck though! God bless.

Always a vibe, the drinks (alcoholic) are horrible. I’ve tried most of them so I’m qualified to rate them a 1, BUT the food is TOP TIER. They never miss!

Everything was actually really great Besides the sweet potatoes, they were not done. The atmosphere was good. The waitress was very knowledgeable and very hospitable.

The food here is either a hit or a miss. I Have ordered here consistently.My first order from here was my best order. The quality of the food changes up way too often. Either get dry, Turkey, wings or Mac and cheese that doesn't taste right. It had a sour flavor.
Sometimes the greens are super salty. Or the yams aren't cooked enough. I do like the food when it's made correctly.Please put bertha back in the kitchen

Bertha's Soul Food Bar & Grill hit my aunts South Carolina Soul and my South Bronx Soul at the same time as we traveled through Baltimore for a business meeting. Auntie saw the collard greens and they was cut wide and her Bronx side eye made her look suspicious. Her taste test brought out her smile. And the bust down went down. Her side of crispy fried chicken complemented her plate of Turkey Wings, collard greens, sweet potatoes and yellow rice. As I am doing this review 2 weeks later I am feeling like jumping on the 95 South on the 3.5 hour drive to get our same dishes. I had 2 pieces of Fried Catfish, mac & cheese, broccoli.
I didn't leave anything on my plates and it was the perfect meal that filled me for the drive back to NYC. Our entire meal was seasoned just right we requested to speak to the chef and seasoner to give our praise.
Bertha's Soul Food restaurant accommodated us and so we certainly did.

Came here looking for some good home cooking, and that’s exactly what I got. I was just ordering takeout but realize that this could definitely be a good spot to get together with friends on the weekend and the food is so good.

I got the party wings that comes with eight, when I thought they would be too small. I opened my box and saw these wings – – honey old Bay by the way, and they were so good.

Yams were a little hard, but I think that’s just a preference, otherwise the mac & cheese collard greens were also so good!

Will be back, love the food!

I ordered 2 turkey wing dinner and the turkey wings wasn't done, macaroni and cheese was mushy not done, cany yams were cooked hard from the can taste terrible, cabbage was nasty tasted burnt. I called and asked to spoke to the manager they told me on numerous occasions when I called that the manager would call me back. This was over a week ago and this Sunday will be 2 weeks and nobody has reached out to call me yet. At this point I will never eat there again. I've been a loyal customer since they opened. Don't ordered from Bertha's. Management is not professional and don't handle customer concerns.
