A local place where local people go because of their relationship with the owner, Maria. Hate to make a bad comment, but my breakfast platter was not good. Perhaps it was too close to the closing time. But my platter was way to greasy with a puddle of oil/butter withy French toast. The bacon was not crispy but very greasy as well. The price was way too high for what I got and the atmosphere of the place which needs renovation.

I truly tried to like the place. I live 1 block away and tried over 5 times but I wish I didn’t. Aside from the mediocre breakfast food (it’s breakfast, not that hard), the rudeness of the staff, especially the owners angry faced son who makes you feel like you’re inconveniencing him when ordering. He is unhappy, rude, egotistical, and his mother is worse. After brining my dog to pickup food, he screamed at me as no pets are allowed. I posted on our neighborhood page and was lambasted by the owner saying I was lying and they allow dogs. I tried to support local and family owned but this family doesn’t like you supporting them. I now go to the square and pay more for breakfast 4x a week and am so much happier doing so.

Have gone a couple of times now. Easily the best breakfast we've had in Maryland. The waffles are amazing and the breakfast potatoes are as well. Great to find a place with a chef that knows how to season well and on top of that very friendly. I feel like I'm stepping into someone's home for some amazing home cooking when I go here.

Simply Marie’s is simply THE BEST. These are the best pancakes I’ve EVER had. We didn’t leave a bite left on the plate. The owner was very kind/friendly. The inside is clean but small (takeout if you don’t get there early) and the family story is so sweet. We will definitely be back!
Simply Marie's is easily my favorite breakfast spot in canton. Their home fries may just be the best I've ever had. The chicken and waffles is my easily favorite chicken and waffles in the whole city!

I just discovered this place and when i tell you the food was AMAZING!!! I have NO complaints ! it was seasoned well and the breakfast platter came with a good amount of bacon .You will definitely get what you pay for! The sausage gravy is something you have to try as well !! I've had breakfast from other places in the area and nothing compared to this place! i wish i would have discovered it sooner !! Please go check them out don't second guess it

I ordered off DoorDash for pick up. The French toast was 9/10 and the fried potatoes ? 2/10 too many onions and not enough seasoning. Not even an ounce of seasonings. No salt or pepper .. how u mess up fried potatoes? Oh and they weren’t even fried more like baked or something. First time and last time here.
