The bar is ok, the actual layout is nice. Parking is extremely difficult. I was there with a group of 7. The bottle prices on beer was a bit high compared to other local bars. Decent selection of drafts. 4 of us ordered pizzas and they were BURNT. Like seriously burnt, blackened. I couldn't help but wonder how the server couldn't feel uncomfortable bringing out one burnt pizza after another. You could CLEARLY see blackened crust and dough. I made a comment about it being over cooked and he didn't acknowledge it. The wings are average at best. The menu is so small that you would think the few items they serve would be good, not so much. The girl at the bar with the tattoos was busy flirty with some guy so getting drinks went slow

Never again!!!!!! Went in during happy hour and the place was empty. Only went there because Bar Vasquez was closed for a holiday party and didn't feel like wasting the money we just spent on parking. My friend and I got a crush that must have had 0 alchohol in it. So we decided to get rail tequila shots to ensure we weren't getting screwed...well that back fired! Rail drinks were $4 for happy hour, the bartender told us because we weren't getting a mixed drink that we had to pay $6 eventhough it was still rail liquor. So you're telling me I have to pay more for less.....BYE!!!!!!! Never again!!!!!

So this spot holds a special place in my heart. It's a building with a longstanding history this point, from Fletchers before my time, to the Get Down which will forever be remembered as a legendary and fabeled time period in my life, to the uncertainty that was Make Some Bad Decisions when it was forced to transition from it's corner pocket a few blocks away, and now Sir Duke's. Anyway, I waited a while before this review to see what would become of the place. Several months ago, it seemed it had hit it's balance - primarily serving as a dive bar but occupying the space of something larger. The food including tacos were good, they had a few house drinks that were on point, and there's a liquor store with limited selection in the back. We had a party here that was awesome, besides no real dance floor which the place is built for. However, now, the food is still the same but I was told there was no real drink menu outside of the beer menu which was weird yesterday (I remember there being one). They have interesting happy hour and shots related specials, and the punch was very good. However, they really some drinks to consider staples. And the layout is still a bit awkward as the bar span is limited and the open space is more fit for a club with a dance floor than a dive bar or place to get dinner. It would be great for music with a performer or DJ as well even if no dance floor. They are still doing nothing with the upstairs as well. I got to stop.

The prices are decent considering the area and if you come in on the right night the bartenders are pretty hot

Will definitely return. The staff and clientele were friendly and fun. The food was plentiful and not too expensive for the quality and quantity (We had the fish tacos and the grilled cheese sandwich.) It was nice to see so many people laughing and just having fun dancing, playing Jenga, and hula hooping.

Came here for a "Night Brunch" event. The venue was small and intimate. The wait staff were pleasant. We got a couple of stools at the bar because we arrived early and luckily we did. In an hour, the place was standing room only. We ordered the chicken and waffles which were awesome! The crowd's vibe was cool and the music was awesome. The drinks were good as well. All in all, a great time ( for a Wed) and I look forward to visiting this neighborhood venue again in the future.

Went there for "night brunch" and it was an interesting experience. The service was not good, apparently you had to go up to the bar to order but no one told us that until we sat at our table waiting for 25 min (I don't know if it's always like this or just on this particular occasion). A ton of people came for night brunch and there was a DJ and breakfast food and bottomless mimosas. The food was just alright, we got edamame, onion rings, and breakfast tacos. None of them were particularly tasty, so I probably won't go back for the food, but it's in a good spot and has a big open area on the sidewalk with tables and chairs so would be good to get a drink and sit outside.

An interesting bar and restaurant. There is a lot of trendier moody art on the walls. The drinks are good. The food is just fine (not good, not great). I ordered the breakfast tacos and found them to be good but only after I added a healthy dose of hot sauce. My friends felt they wouldn't have ordered their food dishes again (taco, edamame, onion rings, etc) and would only return here for drinks. The service is confusing. You order at the bar for everything and then they'll bring it out to you. But we waited at our table to be served for about 15 minutes before a bartender/waitress came over and notified us. If possibly I'd recommend sitting outside as those tables reflect the setting sun perfectly. I'd definitely return for a night out but not necessarily for food.

Went here for an externally hosted event "night brunch" on a wednesday night. there were only a few choices on the brunch menu. I ordered the breakfast tacos which were bland and small. We had to walk up to the bar and order food and drink which would be delivered to our table. The service people were not organized and not very helpful. It was "eh"
