Fantastic night ! Brought out of town family and it was a very busy Saturday night. Everything was delicious ! Our server Derick was outstanding!! Although incredibly busy we were well looked after . The drinks, food, and wine were fantastic! I highly recommend!

Excellent pre-theater dinner. Service was great and waiter made sure our meal was concluded in time to make the show. Food and wine were exceptional. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for higher-end Italian dining. And they have valet parking.

We love this restaurant and think the food is fabulous despite its price. This week is restaurant week so we took advantage of their Price Fix menu this week. The ambiance is so lovely, service is impeccable, food is fantastic. We highly recommend Sotto Sopra every night especially on Opera night!!!!

Restaurant Week special was great for all 3 diners. Excellent preparation and selection of seafood dishes. Elegant and eclectic surroundings. Attentive and helpful staff. Free valet parking. Only caution is price. Be prepared for a serious bill -- almost worth it, though.
Table of five seated next to front window and near front door. Weather was cold, and we were cold. Next time I would leave before sitting there. Told there were no other tables. Back of restaurant was nice and warm. Food was fine, but I was so cold I couldn't wait to leave. I was happy to see the place busy.

Setting is quite nice, food excellent and service outstanding. The menu is somewhat different , for a self-proclaimed Italian restaurant, but our selections were uniformly good, both appetizers and entrees. The choices of wines were also a bit different than "the usual" but the one I chose turned out to be very satisfying. Except for the parking (couldn't find a spot closer than 2 blocks away) the overall dining experience was memorable.

My husband and I were in on a busy Friday night the weekend of the Army Navy game. We were seated on time and then quickly offered an even better table within minutes (which we gladly accepted). The atmosphere was jovial and it was obvious to us that this place was a local favorite as everyone spoke to Monica, including us. She explained that her husband started the business 30 years ago and that now she and her daughters help out on busy weekends. We loved the lobster ravioli and the gelato for dessert. Our cocktails and wine were also great. We definitely recommend and will be returning if we’re ever back in Baltimore.

After asking for recommendations for great Italian food, our daughter suggested Sotto Sopra. She believes they offer some of the best Italian food available in Baltimore. Due to traffic issues on 95 we had to call the restaurant to push back our reservation and I was very pleased with how the restaurant was able to accommodate our needs on a busy Saturday night. We entered with high expectations and we were not let down. The menu offered many dishes you don't see on typical Italian menus. From the craft cocktails to the beet and burrata appetizers, squid ink pasta with crawfish, crab meat and mushrooms and Gnocchi Bolognese entrees and Bread Pudding and Gelato dessert each course was delightful. This is a great place for a date or celebration or just for great food!

Thanksgiving night here has become our tradition. The meal was superb and the service delightful. Homemade pasta, delicious lamb chops and outstanding carbonara. Fabulous!
