Sotto Sopra has quickly become my favorite Italian restaurant. The food is marvelous as is the atmosphere and serviceđđ». I especially adore the Polenta Fritta Bergamot appetizer, the Pumpkin Pasta entrĂ©e, and the Pistachio Tiramisu dessert. The ambiance and decor are perfection. I canât wait to come back for dinner on an opera night! We are lucky to have such an all-around exquisite restaurant in Baltimore. Grazie mille, Sotto Sopra! đźđčđ
We had our anniversary dinner here and I wouldn't change a single thing about it. Truly a night to remember. The food and service were both unmatched. Frutti de Mare is my favorite food and this is some of the best I've had, and I've tried it all over the US. They let the wonderful pastas shine as brightly as their sauces. So fresh and delicious. I would drink it if I could lol. My partner got the seasonal special Pumpkin Pasta and it was also delightful. Our server was so sweet and gave us a scoop of strawberry gelato with a sparkler to celebrate when we ordered our dessert, both of which were such treats.
Parking: There are multiple parking garages in the area with fair pricing for the area.

Went here for my momâs 55th birthday last weekend, and we loved it. From the drinks to the food and service, I was pleasantly surprised. I got the fettuccine Alfredo as my main dish and am still thinking about it to this day! 10/10

First time going to Sotto Sopra tonight 10/10. I had the Branzino Special and Panna Cotta Dessert. Both were delicious. It paired well with the Sauvignon Blanc. The service was great as well. I will definitely come back to try other dishes ?

The food was good. It was properly portioned. The service was good. It is a little crowded feeling because tables are too close together and pretty noisy because of the proximity to others. Definitely not a place you should go to for a private dining experience.
We went there to celebrate my birthday. Restaurant was filled so pretty noisy but it didn't interfere with our enjoyment. The food was delicious. Presentation unusual and interesting. Portions just the right size. Not too large as most are usually in Italian restaurants. They knew it was my birthday and brought me a dish of strawberry gelato with a sparkler on it. Service was excellent also.
This was not our first visit to Sotto Sopra, and like our past visits it did not disappoint! We shared the burrata caprese salad, it was delicious. I had the Caccio e Pepe that was a chefs special. It was Devine. My husband had the halibut, he really enjoyed it. For dessert we had our usual, a chocolate lava cake and the mascarpone cheesecake-fabulous as usual. The service is always above and beyond. Cannot wait for our next visit.
As always, Sotto Sopra delivers excellent food and superb service (they don't get any better than Derrick). Keeps us coming back month after monthâwe've tried many different restaurants in Baltimore but none compare.

For a fine dining restaurant, their attention to detail is lacking. My husband and I decided to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary here yesterday. The experience started off nice. The drinks were delicious. After we placed our orders, things started to decline. My husbandâs appetizer arrived and never once in 25 minutes did our waiter(Victoria) check in. Maybe if she had I could have asked about my appetizer that never made it to the table sooner than our main course arriving. When we finally got her attention she replied she didnât hear me despite her comments about how good the soup was when I placed the order. While the filling in my food was good the Veal Agnolotti fell short for me simply because the Italian restaurant forgot to salt the pasta and spinach. We tried to salvage the night with Dessert. Our dessert arrived and we couldnât even dig in because we werenât given any utensils. I will add my husband enjoyed his first two courses. The waiter comped my drink but sadly it was just a poor experience to end of our anniversary celebrations!

Such an incredible dining experience. The food and the service were beyond amazing. We had the privilege of being seated at one of Derrick's tables. We had the Frutti di Mare, the Veal Agnolotti, and raspberry/lemon sorbet. Divine. Definitely returning soon.

I stopped in for dinner while on a weekend trip. I wasnât expecting much, but everything was amazing. The carbonara was delicious. The cheesecake was the perfect ending. Terrance made some great drinks and was overall an excellent bartender. 11/10 would return whenever Iâm in the Baltimore area.

This was our first time at Sotto Sopra & everything was great. We were celebrating our 2 year anniversary & I have to say that our server, Derick, was fantastic. He made our night with his top notch service. He definitely made it feel special. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect. Itâs safe to say we will definitely be returning.
