Recently moved to the area, stopped by to have dinner w/my kids. There was an orioles game on so it was very loud but my son wanted to leave because there was so much cursing. No one approached us. There were two bartenders, I walked up and waited a bit to be acknowledged. The girl ignored me and the guy gave me a menu. We put in our order and I specifically mentioned ketchup for the fries because we just moved to the area and I don't have ketchup in the house yet. He put the order in. Came back 15min later to tell me the food would be ready shortly. After 30min of waiting I walked up to the bar and started trying to get answers. The girl had no idea I ordered food and the guy was nowhere. She went to the back and came back with our order. We got home and there was no ketchup for the fries. The food was ok but the service was non existent. It felt like we were a bother actually.

I ordered pick-up because I saw a review that the wings were good…the wings were NOT good. 8 wings for almost $20! I ordered Old Bay & Honey “crispy” wings and the coleslaw. They didn’t have any Old Bay on them and were thrown in with the celery so I opened the box to a sticky, soupy mess. They were dry and tasted like they’ve been in the fridge for a week with absolutely no crisp and broken bones. The coleslaw was the biggest disappointment though because how to you mess up coleslaw? You don’t even have to cook it! Tasted like straight up Mayo and the cabbage was brown. I didn’t even try on to eat it, both items went into the garbage. AND they don’t give you this little message until you’ve already paid “OUR ESTABLISHMENT DOES NOT ISSUE REFUNDS AND DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURN MERCHANDISE OREXCHANGES”.

This had been one of my favorite restaurants for years, but the new menu is absolute garbage. It makes me so sad.

Great service and food for a place known for usually only night life. Food great, drinks and service. Definitely come for the food now as well and not just to only drink .

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night and the vibe was pretty chill, with groups scattered by the bar and at tables. We picked a table by the door and luckily there were heat lamps that kept us warm on a chilly late November night. The cocktails were okay, but the bartender did go out of her way to find olives for a dirty martini. We shared some plates, including a salad that was fairly straightforward and a couple of their classics. The cast iron mac 'n' cheese was nicely textured with some soft bites and crispy edges intermixed. The honey hot chicken was excellent! The brioche bun was soft, the chicken had a hint of sweetness and packed a nice heat that wasn't too spicy. If you're craving southern comfort food, Southern Provisions has a few dishes that might do the trick!

Had to flag the bartender down every time I needed a drink. They were more concerned with turning music on during commercials of the football game than taking care of customers. Then I had to flag them down to pay my bill. I was also charged a 3% convenience fee for their troubles…I was 1 of 10 customers in the entire bar and restaurant. If you want to charge a credit card fee, at least check if they are paying with credit. After the 15 minutes it took me to pay, no way I was waiting for them to remove the fee, which is not posted anywhere to even let you know what it is.I paid cash and left a 30% tip including the fee. I won’t be back.

On arrival we sat down at a table service took long , when we finally ordered my order was completely wrong, i ordered the potato’s and got French fry’s and i ordered chipotle Mayo on my sandwich and got bbq sauce on it . I returned my order and ended up waiting another 30mins even though the place was not crowded only a hand full of customers. The server was named Sarah. When my girlfriend asked for silverware she didn’t even acknowledge her it took another employee to ask what we needed. I have been to southern provisions many times over the years and never had service like this. Ordered time was 10-28-23 at 1:16pm check number #47

When I entered, I was immediately greeted by the female employee who was sitting at the bar drinking, what looked like soda, like she was a customer. She took my order, then gave me my bill with a extra 3% charge labeled "cc." When I asked what it was, she said that they charge an extra 3% for using a credit card. She never asked me how I was paying, nor did she explain in advance that I would receive this charge. I gave her $10, so she said she would take it off. Then, she gave me change with no receipt. When I repeatedly asked for my receipt, she ignored me as she talked on the phone. The 3rd or 4th time that I asked for my receipt, she completely turned her back to me and kept talking on the phone. I stood at the bar patiently watching, when finally, a guy in an orange shirt, saw her and ran over to ask if I needed help; this young lady was still on the phone! I told him that I only wanted a copy of my receipt, so he whispered to her, as she still stood with her back turned to me on the phone, then he handed me my receipt. Now, I believe that I counted .26 cents in change for a $9.54 bill.I also did not see any signs that indicate the additional 3% charge. The hummus was good, so that's why I gave them 2 stars. The bathroom was clean. They also have outdoor dining. I suspect that folks have a good time, as long as they don't want service while the employees are talking on the restaurant's phone. I'll pass.Parking: It's in Canton, so parking is tight.

The food here was really good, and I enjoyed the comedy show that they had. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a couple of laughs on Wednesday nights.

Ordered the build your own pick 2 as a carry out order. Got 1/2 fried chicken and 1/2 ribs. Got fries and grilled corn. I also got the sticky cinnamon roll. I didn’t enjoy the sticky cinnamon roll it tasted kind of stale. This might’ve been the worst fried chicken I’ve ever had. I think it was over fried. Very dry and tasted like onion rings. They gave me a cheddar biscuit with my order. Also very dry and flavorless. I enjoyed the other items. Will try again but order something different.
