i had been to this bar once while visiting baltimore and loved it. when i moved to the city a year later i was excited to come back. unfortunately, during my second visit, this place was ruined by an extremely rude bartender. after looking at my government issued, legal ID that i have had for many years she claimed that it was “too flimsy” to accept. maybe this was because i am from another state? idk. she also said that she held it under the light for a while and couldn’t see the hologram but when i looked at it in normal lighting for two seconds i could easily see it. i offered to show her my passport and she refused that as well. it’s very frustrating to be refused service at a place you have been before when you are 24 years old. i’m extremely disappointed that this condescending lady has ruined what was once a really cool place.

Unfortunately the drinks were way too strong it was if I was drinking straight shots and what I asked for it’s seemed like they were either out of just didn’t know how to make it. Wish I could have had a better experience but I had to use a whole 16oz glass of water just to make the drink taste half way decent. I hope other people can have a more fulfilling experience.
