Very good place. I generally prefer smaller owner operated establishments to big national or international chains. It always feels better to spend your money with them and when the overall experience is as rewarding as it is here it’s extra good!! Props to Spoons, they ace it

I guess you just have to get lucky that this place is open when they say they are when you come. I went here with a friend on a Sunday morning and my experience was great, no complaints. I had leftovers to bring home, my spouse thought the leftovers were so good that we decided to come back the following weekend, also on Sunday (literally one week later). We arrived after 8:45am and the doors were locked. There was no sign on the door explaining why, no updates on google, their website, or their social media. They didn’t answer the phone. We weren’t the only confused potential customers outside. So yeah, 2nd star because my first time there was good, but maybe update your hours or at least inform customers of a change so we don’t waste time, gas, and parking fees just to be greeted by a locked door.

Excellent server (Sage, you’re a delight!!), excellent food (the big spoon scramble with biscuit and grits was top notch- very flavorful and those grits are heavenly!), and excellent name! Great breakfast spot.

My husband and I have been coming to spoons for 10+ years and it remains our favorite spot in Baltimore! The vibe at spoons is relaxed and comfortable. Their food is awesome, some favorites are their blueberry pancakes, biscuits and scrambles. Coffee is great and so is the service.

Came from Boston and was recommended we visit spoons. So bummed we waited foe the second leg of our trip, because had we known, we would have been several times!! Ha ! So so good. Very friendly staff, haven't had a lot of that here in Baltimore. EXCELLENT food (they even grilled my English muffin! Something Dave and Dads rudely responded to). And the iced lattes we got were INCREDIBLE. I wish we had a spoons at home !

This is a very pleasant place, with very friendly service and good food. It’s a bit pricy but a nice treat.
How have we missed this place. Looking for something new & different for breakfast this weekend. Found it by accident but glad we did. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back

Very much enjoyed the food. Our server was friendly but forgot to bring my coffee and only checked back once (which was when I mentioned forgetting coffee but, given price, didn’t want it at that point as I could have been enjoying it already). The hostess was not very friendly.

Every thing I have ever tried at this place has been amazing. I wish I could afford to eat here everyday! I had the Greasy spoon and it was delicious. My friend had a chicken biscuit and wanted to lick the plate. And my partner had the French toast and LOVED it!!
