We were unfortunately unable to eat here. The hostess was quite rude, greeting our party with 'Do you need something from me?' rather than 'How may I help you?' or 'Good morning.' She kept repeating that she needed our phone number in a very callous tone. We provided the number, but never received a notification that our table was ready. I can only assume we weren't welcome. It’s not how anyone wants to be treated first thing in the morning, especially not on their birthday.

We got the huevos verdes and the egg, cheese, and meat biscuit. We thought both of them were fine, not bad, but by no means phenomenal. The coffees were also both fine, but something tasted a bit off in the peppermint mocha latte. The service was great, atmosphere was lovely, and the cafe was quite busy, but not overwhelming . I would definitely give it one more shot, but I don’t think it was memorable.

The food is fine, but the whole experience feels like an overpriced diner with smaller portions (I got the greasy spoon). I guess that’s just what happens these days with inflation and price gouging. A tip- the display menu outside the restaurant is out of date and the actual prices are a dollar or two more.

One of the best breakfasts in Baltimore. Sage and Jess did a great job waiting on my business partner and I. The coffee was excellent. We got the cinaroll pancake and it was one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had and the the verdes ranchero was one of the best juevos rancheros I’ve ever had as well. Can’t wait to come back and visit soon. Keep up the great work!

The chai latte was ehhhh….regular. Nothing special but those cinnamon roll pancakes was addictive. You don’t need any butter or syrup! They’re good to go AS IS

We truly enjoyed our experience here. The food was excellent. I would recommend their biscuits the best I’ve tasted. I had a breakfast sandwich with you fried eggs. It was sublime. Coffee Was delicious however we did order the special coffee for the season and it was not good. But that’s what we get for trying things.
We did have to wait, unfortunately outside and it was raining. I think that was the only drawback of the experience. It would’ve been nice if they had an awning to stand under instead of Standing in the rain. The place is too small for people to wait inside.

Spoons is the breakfast place to be! Everything was amazing! I got the fried risotto eggs Benedict with grits and my husband got the biscuit sandwich with potatoes. ALL SO GOOD! They also had a mulled cranberry holiday iced coffee with oat milk that was good and unique as well. Tart but coffee. My taste buds were intrigued. Definitely worth trying.

🍳 Spoons: Where Breakfast Feels Like a Hug 🍳
If breakfast had a love language, Spoons would be fluent in it. From the moment you walk in, it’s like stepping into someone’s cozy kitchen — the kind with delicious coffee, warm lighting, and the smell of something delicious wafting from the stove.
The atmosphere? Pure comfort. It’s not just “homey,” it’s actual-home vibes. You half expect someone’s grandma to pop out and ask if you want seconds. And the food? Tastes like it was made by someone who knows your soul — fluffy eggs, golden potatoes, and that hot cider? A mug of autumn magic. Sweet, spiced, and so good it should come with a warning: may cause spontaneous happy dancing.
Service was lightning-fast and genuinely friendly, like they were happy you showed up (because they probably are). If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that wraps you in warmth and feeds you like family, Spoons is your place.

Very good place. I generally prefer smaller owner operated establishments to big national or international chains. It always feels better to spend your money with them and when the overall experience is as rewarding as it is here it’s extra good!! Props to Spoons, they ace it

Stopped in 30 minutes prior to close during a weekday lunch hour for a quick bite and wow this place is legit. Cinnabon pancakes are recommended, kudos to the Chef…Quality work will return
