It was my first time trying Afghan food and I chose the right place! I had the cauliflower and one of their fruit drinks and I loved it. Hamasa was so nice and accommodated a party of 18 in this cafe! Thank you so much Hamasa!!!! We all loved it

such an amazing experience, some dishes are served in a tea pot, tea and dessert are amazing. One of my favorite places to order food from and to dine in person. My favorite afghan spot in the city! they also sell rugs and tea sets which adds to the atmosphere
Lovely spot with very flavorful authentic ethnic food. Will be back.

We visited on Monday night as a group of 6 plus our 6 month old before going to an event at the zoo. It was such a cozy atmosphere - a lovely accompaniment to a grey misty evening. My wife and I shared the lamb shank platter with rice/chickpeas/pumpkin, and an order of eggplant. It was all excellent, and perfect for making small soft bites for the baby! A few of us ordered the ginger turmeric tea, and the kind gentleman brought cups for everyone! At the end, he asked about the baby and gave us a dessert for her, which was actually great because it was only slightly sweet, faintly scented with some kind of herb or spice, and was just soft enough for the baby to try but firm enough to keep its form when giving her bites.
Overall, I definitely recommend Spring Cafe. We were made to feel welcome & right at home, especially with the little one and how much space we took up!
Very lovely cafe with a super kind owner. Can’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for a good stew and a chill setting.
This place was amazing! The owner was so kind and the food was delicious. My husband and I enjoyed the small and close atmosphere of it. We even bought a handmade pillowcase to take home 🥰
The worst Afghan food I ever had. I ordered Lamb shank platter and 5 mantoo and a can of drink. The chick peas were uncooked, the rice were not fully cooked and lamb shack had a extremely strong smell. The mantoo were mediocre. Our total was $42. Complete waste of money. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
This place is authentic and the owner makes you feel at home. I had the Kabul Chaynaki and Kabul Kaddo, which were fantastic. I’d highly recommend stopping in here if you’re anywhere close to the area.
