I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt it was absolutely necessary to express just how much I appreciate the Subway at Mount Clare Shopping Center. This location is not just a sandwich shop it’s a true gem in our community, and it deserves far more recognition than it gets. Let me start by saying this: this Subway is hands-down the BEST and most friendly business around. I’m not exaggerating, and I’m certainly not writing this just for the sake of saying something nice. I personally visit this Subway on a daily basis, and my experience is consistently amazing. What truly makes this Subway stand out is the incredible team, especially Mike. Mike is a young, smart, and hardworking gentleman who defines what true customer service should be. He’s always active, upbeat, and eager to help. Whether you’re a regular like me or a first-time visitor, he treats everyone with the same kindness, respect, and professionalism. His positive energy, business-oriented mindset, and genuine friendliness make him an asset not just to the store but to our entire neighborhood. Mike and the team are always attentive and never rush through orders. They take the time to make your food exactly how you want it, and they do it with a smile every single time. It’s clear they take pride in their work and actually care about the customer experience. That kind of commitment is rare these days, and it’s why I keep coming back. Now, I’ve seen a few negative reviews floating around, and let me tell you honestly—they’re just not true. Some of those reviews come from people who bring rudeness and bad attitudes into the store and then turn around and try to blame the employees. That’s not fair, and it’s not reflective of what this location is all about. Our community needs to recognize that the people working here, like Mike, are doing an incredible job. They are an asset to our neighborhood, and we should be supporting them not tearing them down. I speak from the heart when I say this place is special. Every visit feels like walking into a place where people actually care not just about sandwiches, but about their customers, their service, and the community they serve. It’s clean, it’s efficient, it’s warm, and it’s run by people who are truly trying to make a difference. If you haven’t stopped by this Subway yet, do yourself a favor and go. And if you’re one of those people who has been harsh or impatient with the staff, take a moment to reflect. We should be lifting up businesses like this, not dragging them down.

The employees gave my order to someone else then called me a liar and accused my of trying to fraud Subway. Who does that for a couple of sandwiches? Instead of owning up to their mistake, they treated me like I did something wrong for paying them and expecting my food. The manager made excuses for the employees and also didn't take accountability, said the person had the same name. Not a common name, and you can't read a phone screen from a security camera, of course the employees would lie and say the name was the same to cover themselves. I would not recommend.

Clean at least- the people are very fixated on giving g you what they want. My sandwiches were put in with whatever cheese they wanted and we asked to get a side of meat that we do at many subways and they said they’d charge me for a full sandwich.

Subway needs to lower their prices, bring back the $5 foot long paying 18-20 for a foot long with chips and drinks seems way too high.

Super slow, it took 15 minutes for them to serve another person, they already had my bread ready for me just to collect it and they started to serve another customer who was still after me, I got angry and left... that lady is talking on the phone all the time phone…. It's food, gentlemen!!! How do they allow people to talk over customers' food?
