I couldn't order as it was cash only. Really frustrating to travel thru the hospital to find that I dont have cash and cant eat due to limited options at midnight. Also, my break is now over. Thanks Subway!!
Came back to try again, and same thing. I won't be wasting my break time to walk all the way back there anymore. It's ridiculous that in 2025, the card machine doesn't work.

Good balance of flavors in the dishes.
Be cautious of any overly positive reviews for this place—they’re likely paid for or generated by AI. The staff here, especially the manager, are some of the rudest and most unpleasant people I’ve encountered. I watched hospital employees wait for someone else to take their order just to avoid dealing with him. Customers were being yelled at while their food was being prepared, and the food itself tasted as unclean as the counters looked.
Subway should pull their franchise.

Sent my wife in to get her sub first since we had our child with us. We got mailed coupons and both had one. She went in first, got her 6inch meal and the guy told her he couldn't use the coupon that it had to be on the app but he'd give her the discount this time. She tells me when she comes out so I download the app and do all the things. I go in get my order and go to use the app and he refuses to honor the app price. I told him he literally just told my wife to download the app and he just stared at me and said they don't honor coupons. Not only did I not see a sign that they don't honor coupons but apparently they only honor them if you're a woman. We won't be back.

The Indian guy who took my order was very rude and nasty. He actually got mad at because I told him that I didn’t want my bread toasted, he never once asked me if I want my bread toasted or not. He was so fast slapping the meat on that I didn’t get a chance to tell him that I didn’t want it toasted but wasn’t he suppose to ask? He then began taking the meat from off of the bread aggressively and speaking in his language. After experiencing that I no longer wanted the food. University Hospital ,Baltimore MD

Unprofessional, arrogant, lazy and slow. The food is not fresh at all.
Vegetarian options: Great veggie sandwiches
Parking: Depending on the time you might find free parking but it's rare

For frequent visitors to the University of MD Medical Center, the Subway situated there is a no brainer. While it may not be a destination restaurant, it is a dependable source of comfort and sustenance. The most notable aspect of this Subway is the consistent freshness of its ingredients. Whether stopping in early or for a late-night snack, the vegetables always appear crisp and vibrant, and the meats maintain a satisfying quality. The recent menu update offers a welcome change, providing a wider variety to choose from. I recently enjoyed the Hot Shot Italiano, with its zesty combination of salami, pepperoni, and provolone, and the BMT, a classic that never disappoints. The chip selection is generous, catering to various taste preferences, and the cookies are a delightful way to end a meal. The staff at this Subway location typically strikes a good balance between efficiency and friendliness. They understand the fast-paced nature of a hospital environment and work swiftly to get orders completed, while still acknowledging customers with a smile. It's important to note that the restaurant itself does not offer dine-in seating. However, the advantage lies in its proximity to the hospital cafeteria, allowing patrons to take their Subway creations across the hall and enjoy a comfortable dining experience.Overall, the Subway at the University of MD Medical Center serves its purpose admirably. It provides consistent quality, a welcome variety of fresh ingredients, and friendly service, making it a reliable option for those seeking a quick and satisfying meal during a hospital visit.

Tuna salad wrap was soggy and salty, the wrap wasn’t wrapped well. The server was nice and tried to do his job but they definitely need more checks on quality and training on how to make a wrap that doesn’t break when they cut it!! I couldn’t enjoy my working lunch on the weekend unfortunately due to this experience!

Ordered online. Tried to pick up and sandwich was nowhere to be found. Manger on duty was just like, "tough luck I guess?" Had to do a charge-back to get a refund.
