I placed an online order for pickup at 11:19am. My food was supposed to be ready at 11:54am and I did not get my food until 1:21pm which is crazy! This place is too small and way too crowded they need to upgrade to a place that has more space. I have never had to wait so long for chicken and waffles. The food was good but it’s just not worth the wait and the price. I will not recommend to anyone and I will not be back!

The food was good, but the wait times were excessive. I waited an hour for a French toast platter today, 2/23/24. The staff does not communicate with their customers to let them know what is going on. I just found that to be very unprofessional. Not sure if I'll be returning for that reason, which is very unfortunate because I did enjoy the food.

Food is super good . French toast bacon egg and cheese was the best . Belgium waffles are soo good . Nothing there dissapoints . Im from NY and i wish they could come out here lol 10/10 . Only thibg i will say is you will be waiting a little while for your food but its well worth the wait .

I ordered 3 orders from them over an hour ago. The Uber eats person calls me and told me that someone had dropped my bag and that my order would be on the way late. I called Sugar Mamas to confirm and y’all don’t answer the phone. I paid $77 dollars with a Standard delivery. Yall do this mess when I do a standard delivery but if I would’ve paid for a Priority delivery, yall would have never dropped my bag (I ordered from Sugar mamas before and paid the priority delivery). I will not order from Sugar Mamas again. Yall are unprofessional and that is not how you treat a customer and especially when I spent close to $100 on the food
Was flying out of Bmore that day to head back home to the West coast. I ordered online which is highly recommended, I wasn't disappointed. The service could've been better, the white or Creole woman taking the orders had a little bit of an attitude and wasn't too friendly until Mo slipped her that $20 bill tip. I get why she was annoyed, it's a small space and everyone kept asking if their order was ready... The food tho, my goodness. I knew it was bomb when I saw Aunty come from that back with a slight limp. The potato's are amazing with a crisp, the fried chicken is fresh and crispy, the shrimp and grits were top tier, the fried fish was seasoned and crispy. The French toast was absolutely good but way too sweet! I knew it would be too sweet after I watched the handsome fella on the grill sprinkle white sugar, powder sugar, and brown sugar. The French toast would be A1 if they ease up on the sugar!! Grab their blue juice and the other pink looking one, it was like a 5 star Koolaid drink but better! Honestly, the food was amazing and I wish someone would come and invest in this business to make the space bigger, they deserve it. Anytime I go to Bmore, I'm stopping there!

Food was flavorful and delicious. I ordered the whiting platter with eggs n cheese and potatoes along with a side of 3 chicken wings. Definitely got my money's worth and have left overs for the next 2 meals. Be prepared for a long wait, but luckily I ordered my food prior to leaving home (35 mins drive) and as soon as I was walking to the restaurant, I received a text stating my food was ready. It was definitely worth the drive.

So, I DoorDash from here a lot and let me tell y’all I have never had a bad order. Their food is amazing! I would give them six stars if I could. the breakfast potatoes are spot on. I have not found another restaurant that can do it like they do! Once you order from here, you will be back. And the name Sugar Mama’s just rolls off the lips. You need to open up a partner restaurant, called Sugar Daddy’s that does barbecue, I’m just saying!
