My friend and I went to Sushi Hana yesterday for the first time ever. The setting is quite peaceful, the staff is friendly and professional, and they got a nice indoor aquarium.
My friend and I got a sesame seaweed salad to share. Small sized, so easily shareable between two friends. We both got two different types of udon dishes that we both liked, but couldn't finish due to the quantity. I personally liked my Nabe Yaki Udon with chicken, but I couldn't finish all of it.
For dessert, we shared one order of mango-flavored ice cream mochi. One order of mochi comes with a plate of two mochis cut in half. The mango was very yummy and not too sweet.
If you're a DC resident going to Baltimore for work and/or visiting friends, or if you're a local college student, I recommend going there if you're looking for a quiet place to dine on a Monday afternoon.

Sushi Hana was a very tasty sushi experience. I found myself down there for fleet week and had some really tasty food. The only complaint is they are a little expensive but good stuff. I mean city food tends to be a little more costly in general but all in all very good sushi and nice clean place.

Though Sushi Hana has been a mainstay for years, their food quality has been very hit or miss. I've never gotten sick on the food, but I have several times found scales on my fish, and I haven't been happy with how to-go orders are packaged - particularly when there are rolls with sauce or that have expressed oil, as it gets on the other food and saturates the rice in other rolls. If you're ordering with a group, make sure to do separate orders for anyone who has food sensitivities because you'll end up with jumbled ingredients if you order all together. Salmon and tuna are good quality but venturing out further leads to less fresh flavor.

Awful service! Gratuity was automatically charged for rude service! Completely unbelievable!! We were a party of 5 and gratuity was added anyways. We were rushed throughout our dining experience and were seen two times max throughout our dinner. Coworkers were arguing as well and interrupting our experience. Completely unbelievable. It’s safe to say we were very unhappy and will not be returning to this location. We are INCREDIBLY disappointed:(

My wife treated me here for father's day and I must say the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Prices are fair. I reccomend it for a nice date with your spouse. We will be back again.

what is so disappointing is that I have purchased the salmon skin ham roll I’m sure over 15 times. However the last two have been disastrous. Attached the picture so you can see how it fell apart because it wasn’t wrapped tight and the salmon skin had been re-cooked, it is not what I expect from sushi Hannah but is what I got. Worse when you try to talk to them about it, you become the problem and they don’t wanna hear any feedback.

They made me a couple of meals 10 minutes before closing. Amazing! Delicious, fast, and perfect even last minute when they are cleaning up and just trying to get home. This place is our go to for fresh quality Japanese food. We have eaten from here at least once a month for over 4 years now, and it has never once been bad or off or inconsistent. grateful they are here! Hard to find a truly good restaurant like this these days.
