I ordered oxtails over rice. It was too sweet, and the rice was overcooked . Price was too high.

Whatever your preference it won't disappoint. I go for the oxtails or the curry dinner. I finally tried the Pineapple Ginger juice and yesss it was delicious 😋. Has a spiciness to it that for sure has it's health benefits. This spot is a lil gem with excellent customer service.

One of the best tasting REAL Jamaican food in the Baltimore area. Customer service is also not bad, so I was shocked the food was good. Portions are worth the price. Owner, Tony, is Jamaican and he does really good cooking.

Parking: Long street to park on.

I was in the mood for some Caribbean food on a Friday. I was in the neighborhood and decided to give them a try. I thought that this was just a carryout so I was surprised to see that the restaurant was filled with nice seating and decor.

The menu had so much to choose from but I picked a few things for my to-go order. I ordered a large Curry Goat, a large Brown Stew Chicken, and a small Curry Chicken. The food was full of flavor and the portion sizes for the chicken dishes were good. The only complaint was the Goat. The Goat itself was good but it seemed like the dish was filled with a lot of vegetables and rice. An extra scoop of goat would have been love.

I'll be back soon to try more dishes.

They used to 'authentic' however, they hired spanish employees and their beef patties are no longer stuffed. More like a flat bread with a tiny bit of beef spread. What a shame

We were looking for Oxtail dinner, could find them in our area so we googled it and found this place the area looked a bit run down and the restaurant wasn't a place I would sit down to eat at but I must say the meal itself was worth the trip and made everything else easy to over look, the food was plentiful and absolutely delicious I would definitely order takeout again, a must try if you haven't been here before.

Ordered thru grubhub, the cabbage was sour but the curry chicken was good. Stew chicken was nice. Ordered a half n half, was replaced by another random drink option although it was good. Ordered two rum cakes, was accused of changing grubhub pricing for the cakes so one was only put in my bag. Wasn't told at pickup nor was given my change in the difference. After inquiring about my missing cake was told i had to pay more and then couldn’t use my cc because of the $10 minimum although i already ordered $50 worth of food thru grubhub. Customer service and their business practices are terrible.

AMAZING!! Try it. You'll be back. I promise! Best Caribbean food in Baltimore Maryland!! I recently moved 20 miles away from Brooklyn And have not experienced any Caribbean restaurants that compare to Sweet Home Jamaica's taste or quality, yet they all have higher prices. No thank you. I'll drive that 20 miles. Trust me. You will return.

Horrible customer service sticky floors old rice always missing items I tried to communicate with staff member and he acted like I wasn’t even talking to him. I’ll never come back here. You should find different staff to run your establishment bcuz clearly they don’t care about pushing customers away.
