HOME!If you know his food like my sister Chef Bridgette & I do, then you'll agree when I say the food, service, and ambiance resonates with a familiar feeling v to us cakes, "Home"!We ordered the greens, macaroni, green beans, candud yams, and potato salad. Our entrees were fried chicken and waffle along with shrimp and grits. The potato salad tastes exactly like our mothers! And the green beans and macaroni were savory! The candid yams were succulent as were the greens and both entrees. However, that waffle was Heaven On earth: sweetened by the candid yams ouzing from the center! YUM!And, yes! We have a photo with Ms. Fatimah herself! The Legend?

Recommend. Good food served fresh & hot. We had a party of 8 with the following items from the Menu: Fried Whiting with Yams n Mac n Cheese, Chicken n Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were simply delicious! The Fried Chicken, Shrimp & Fish fried to perfection and tasted as good as it looked. All the food was Seasoned well, not too salty but just enough seasoning to truly enjoy the food. The Yams n Collards are a real treat to the taste buds. Oh yeah and the Cornbread is "slap ya Mama scrumptious." Disappointed only the first taste is free (lol). The Mac n Cheese was alright. Surprisingly the Chicken Tenders didn't live up to the tender name. They did remake them for take home dining. It's a small simple space. The old school music makes the dining enjoyable. It's also capped to 1 hour dining to ensure everyone gets to enjoy their good tasting food. I can respect that. I hate when people sit all day when they see people waiting to eat (I digressed...) Staff are nice, I felt valued and appreciated that we chose to dine with them. Prices are reasonable. My only issue is they was out of many items. Grits which was a huge disappointment for me becasue I came to get the famous Shrimp n Grits. Additionally they didn't have Butter, Potato Salad, Seafood Salad and ran out of Tarter Sauce. I recommend calling if you have a taste for a particular menu item. In spite of this it was a good dining choice. It lived up to the good reviews.Overall we left satisfied. I would gladly return to eat here again.

This was a great experience. Some of the best soul food that I have ever had. The cornbread appetizer, the smothered baked turkey wings, Mac & Cheese and potato salad were exceptional! A must try even if you are not from Baltimore. It is well worth an hour or two hour drive. I shall return soon!

Great food! Great service! I recommend the Grilled fish and shrimp Po’boy or the Oxtails for adults. My son enjoyed his chicken tenders and fries (he ate the tenders without ketchup , lol). And the pound cake was delicious. I’m definitely returning in a few weeks.
